Great video! Very informative. Nice meeting Jacob. Great production values, too btw. Can't wait to watch Part II. Like the look of the controller. Chip size isn't an issue for most commercial use. It's a contender in the P3 market in that respect. The freqs are interesting. 900Mhz makes sense for EM work too. Autel has a lot to offer

Got mine for weeks ago and I love it.... got it from Carolina drones, to extra batteries, and my neighbor across the street has a mavic but the Evo proforms as well as the mavic and in some cases even better....

I hope the EVO will perform like Autel says it will, cause DJI needs competition to keep prices down to save money for us guys ( consumers ). It seems the EVO is all that and a bag of chips.👍👍

About to purchase my first drone and would like to know more about their 1” sensor release timing.

A bunch of times I noticed that when cam is pointing straight and the drone turns then you get the propellers inside the picture. I am a Mavic Pro user craving for a foldable drone with 4k 60fps which gives decent slow motion footage so I was exited about the EVO but a bit disappointed after watching this because that would be a fatal flaw for me. Please let me know if there is a way to avoid getting the props inside the picture. Thanks for this great review video!!

Can someone explain what the clamoring about a 1 inch sensor is all about? Why is it so important? It just equates to taking photos faster, better?

Roger Ford they're just enjoying it while it exists. As soon as they release it, dji will release the pro 2 and decimate autel, just like they did to the karma.

The Air is there already and hundreds of $ cheaper and probably better. I think Autel was set back by the Air introduction. Probably have been trying to redesign things and add features to beat that.They are way too late. And indeed the MP2 will finish them off. Pity but it is what it is.

Can you find out if it Shoots in PAL. 25/50fps with shutter speeds that corresponds for twice the frame rate. Ie 1/50th & 1/100th shutters?? Thanks.

Very excited, that was a good interview and very informative. Just want to ask about customers living in the E.U. Will the range of the aircraft be affected due to C.E regulations outside the US? Or it will remains the same? CE mode in Europe we don't experience the full potential of the aircraft especially the signal and range. Hope autel will have a solution for customers outside the US. I will personally he getting the Evo once it's release. Thanks keep up the good work

No link to the Autel Evo? You show the link for Air but not Evo. Seems like a very strong competitor of the Mavic Air so will be interesting to see if this is what DJI has been waiting for and releases a MP2 soon as many figured that is what would happen. Do you think this is what DJI will be doing? The obstacle avoidance system does seem more advanced than DJI so that is a plus and also the flight time.

When it does get released DJI will crush it with there Mavic Pro 2. Both are playing the waiting game. If the Mavic Air flew for 1/2 hour I wouldn't wait. But till then I'll keep enjoying my Mavic Pro

Bill14886 keep the pro. Believe me. I got the air as my first drone, and the glitchy wifi and loudness of the thing ruined it for me. I sold it for a pro. It is so much better.

No Geofencing?...I like that. When powering on my DJI aircraft, I get alerts about an airport slightly under 5 miles from me that is decommissioned and no longer in service, or alert of an active airport 20 miles away. As if I can fly that far. Pretty soon the Go4 App is gonna ask me if I was a good boy or not, take a Breathalizer test, show license, proof of insurance, and birth certificate. *argh*

The problem with user autonomy is that too many users are NOT responsible . These nimrods hurt the sport ,hurt the hobby ,and will galvanize public opinion against drones in general. DJI has proactively taken the bull by the horns and has instituted its protocols to protect the hobby and to build a solid foundation for growth of the consumer sphere as well as their own business future. Drones are set to explode across all user communities and we do not need more A--holes ruining it for those of us who are responsible and want to continue doing it with the least government oversight as possible. We are in a battle for the hearts and minds of those members of the citizenry who are undecided but could easily turn negative in the light of bad publicity over irresponsible drone operators. I know we are all adults and assumed to be capable of doing what's right but if this was the prevailing reality , we would have no stop lights , no traffic laws and chaos would reign supreme. What DJI is doing is a good thing for all of us in this hobby.

Mavic Air is the worst drone in recent times. 4.3 miles? Good luck going 1/3rd that. 30 mins? Half that if you're lucky. Screams like crazy. Complete piece of junk. I've traded it off for a second Mavic Pro, love the Pros.
