Anyone who tempt to buy this tool please note that they charge a fraction of the tool price to sell update for one year. I have this tool for 4 years and it does not do all what they advertise but it is a medium grade scan tool. It does not talk with every make and model even for some popular cars. I In Australia they have terrible customer service. Never answer the call so if you want to claim the warranty where would you go? Does not code keys. Good luck.

all decent scan tools have updates, which cost money. you don't have to buy the update to use the tool, only to scan newer cars

not individually, but it does system tests which activates a bunch of things in sequence including the fans, probably the ac clutch too, depending on which system you're testing

When you're on the tablet home screen, i.e. the diagnostic stuff is closed, open the web browser, search Google Play Apps (play.google.com/store/apps?hl=en), then search wireless printer app, find the one you want/need and press install

No you can't operate individual relays, however it will test a module or system and detect if a component is bad, no need to activate a relay and then use a multimeter on the pins or something lol.

I remove my stereo on my 2005 corvette and installed a navigation. From a 2007 corvette also, it worked fine the first time but the second time I turn it back the screen was showing Theftlock is activated. Apparently I need to let the radio re learn the vehicle vin number but I can not find the way to do it with this MaxiCom that I bought. Please HELP ME.

I’m a mobile brake mechanic in need of an EPB scanner. I’ve been looking at the Autel EBS301 and the MK808. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The MK808 has a lot of pro features from scanning all modules, to printing and saving customer info, and internet, and quick links to manuals, but if you don't need those resources, I think it's overkill for just brake work. It has a ton of other scanning ability but if you're not using them it wouldn't make sense to get it. It's a $274 difference between the two. If you plan on offering more services soon, maybe go with the MK808, if you plan to only do brake work for the foreseeable future, the EBS301 might be a better choice. In order to see diagnostics in another language, you will have to send an email to Autel and they will send you the program in your preferred language to install on the scanner. So yes you can have the diagnostics in another language.

Yes, Brilliant! I just got the upgraded one MK808BT, it does all the systems such as engine, srs, abs, transmission, and ebs. And it has an unique function IMMO which is mainly used to disable the lost vehicle keys and program a new replacement key fob.

Hi, this tool has all the makes and models but does it support all the models and makes, and to what level does it support. most information given about this tool is conflicting. Where one will say yes it does support DPF regeneration and another will say it only supports a certain few brands, One will say it will programme car keys, Another will say no only key fob..Asking Autel for this information is a total waste of time.. I've asked so many times what is the most up to date year supported and what is supported, but nobody will give a definite answer. While its a cheap enough scan tool, you really need to know what exactly are the makes and models is actually capable of performing several procedures on. before buying
