The 1st time she prepared Dal Makhani, it was a healthy alternative to the usual recipe. But many people commented "this isn't how you cook Dal makhani'... And this time they forced this amazing cook to go like "now eat as unhealthy as you like it... I'll keep adding butter....because the 1st time I cared for every1's health, I was scoffed...this time you are responsible for your health". I am on Ms./Mrs. Hebbar's side.

Still it's not pure Dal makhni Dear. & BTW Dal Makhni is not unhealthy food if you can't digest something it's your problem not a standard rich dish fault. & No body eat Dal makhni daily routine it's occasionally premium dish. 😊

Exactly, I added karela to my laddus to make it healthy, people got mad at me and told me it’s not laddoo. I was forced to add jaggery and said eat as unhealthy as you like it 😮

Dal makhani was invented in Amritsar my hometown by Hindu Panjabi Kundan brothers who moved to eastern Panjab after partition….maa di dal when cooked overnight on low heat becomes buttery naturally…That’s where it gets its name from…not by the amount of butter that goes into it afterwards..but now you won’t find that anywhere in the world not even at Kundan Dhaba in Amritsar….They add a lot of cheap oil…and btw none of Amritsari or Panjabi dishes used cream ever….even the cream chicken invented by Chawla was actually made by milk…

It's probably a mistk. Dal makhani is not supposed to have onions. The video is correct.
