Odias make Ghaanto/ Ghonto wid lot of veggies wid their skin as skin has lot of fibres and mix wid few amount of Chana Dal/ matar/ red chanaa for enhancing the tastes n healthy too... Basanti Pulao's abbreviation from "Kaanikaa" which is daily serves to Lord Jagannath Mahaparabhu and it is called Kaanikaa.. difference is that we never eat Kaanikaa/ Basanti Pulao wid non veg.
