One of the most interesting tailors. Bold style, incredible attention to detail, interesting history. In the interview he mentions the possibility of altering a garment in case of an increase in muscle mass. I wonder how much is really possible to do so, particularly in the shoulder line. I would be very curious to learn more about that. I started working out during the lockdown and I have a mild fear of not being able to fit in my suits)

It all depends on how much extra seam allowance they left in there. In a lined suit jacket, there’s room for quite a bit, but there’s no way to know how much they actually left without getting the lining detached and having a look.

I love Joe's energy -- I can't wait until I an afford to commission clothes from him. He seems so passionate and creative. Like you mentioned Kirby, I love the spirit of adventurousness with which Joe approaches his commissions. Because of this spirit, it seems like it'd be less intimidating to have Joe make your first piece of bespoke clothing than going into one of the 'heritage houses'. Also being a woman and not in any job that requires me to dress in a suit (I work entirely remotely) I'd love to work with Joe to create something inspired by the tailoring pieces I love so much but for the lifestyle I actually live. Thanks for another great video Kirby!

Dear Mr. Allison, unfortunately when I became familiar with these names like chittleborough and Morgan the pandemic started and the transatlantic traveling became limited or totally restricted, moreover I always thought that savile row tailors were extremely traditional, but now that I know they are going taking a more modern approach I can’t wait to get measured by Mr. Morgan and start having my clothes made by this institution in bespoke tailoring. Thanks for this video and believe me that once this pandemic is over I will fly to London and visit them. Thanks for these videos, increase my knowledge in real craftsmanship of clothing.

I FOUND OUT LATE IN LIFE, THAT MY DAD, IN HIS YOUTH, WAS A TAILOR. I only knew him as someone selling Jewelry and Real Estate. No wonder I've always liked STYLE, CLOTH, ATTENTION TO DETAIL. IT'S FUN. And one doesn't have to be rich to look decent. Although, of course, nothing compares to the finest cloth and styles for those who can afford it. Buy a needle, thread and scissors, or even a sewing machine and DIY, even. Learn the basics, shop for quality and take the time to KNOW YOUR MEASUREMENTS.

Heber gonzalez True. Thankfully, I have both a career and a business which enable me to generate a healthy six-figure income. I suppose that my philosophy regarding spending high four-figures to low five-figures for a suit is that it should represent no more than 2% of my yearly income. In that regards, I’m simply not there yet.

Visited Cad & Dandy and Drake’s on the Row a couple of weeks ago when they were in tier 3 and they manage to safely operate but now are in tier 4 and probably shut down at a crucial time of year were they take a lot of custom. ☹️

Wonder what is the difference between Joe and Edward Sexton. I know they used to work for Tommy Nutters and their styles are very similar to each other. But I have a few pieces made from Edward and it seems to me that Edward’s suits have a little bit more padding and more square than Joe’s. Any thoughts Kirby?
