My best friend was Thai, he always ate my mother’s Puerto Rican food when he came over to my house and when I went to his house I ate Thai food. This was my favorite dish with sticky rice. Thank you for teaching me how to cook this 😊 RIP and happy birthday Ben

Not really a salad. It’s tons of meat. Buuut it is terrific. So so good. It’s sour and meaty and spicy and sweet. Mark Wiens makes a great version…….

I have not had this for many years. How sad is that? I really need a good authentic larb moo in my life soon. The last one I had was served piping hot in a restaurant. It was more like a soup. I nearly cried.

@@HomeCookingwithSomjit I had it yesterday it was really nice thanks. A quick question, is it normal served at room temp? I cooked my pork and left it in the fridge while I bought some ingredients. So it was cold when I ate it.

That's great. I am so happy to hear that you like the recipe. 😊 This dish is best served in room temperature as the fresh vegetables and the roasted ground rice remains it's fragrant and texture. However it can be served cold as well, if prefer it cold I recommend to chill the pork and add the other ingredients right before eating.

No you can't. Thai basil is completely different than western basil which probably is from Italy😄
