Yuvalama çorbası is a famous dish or soup from Gaziantep City known for its baklava, kebabs, pistachios, and more... It is made with spiced rice meatballs, meat, chickpeas, yogurt sauce, and more. The soup is traditionally prepared for weddings, celebrations, feasts, and gatherings.
Ingredients for Yuvalama:
250gr. cubed beef
200gr. ground beef
1 cup rice (soaked in warm water overnight, drained, and pat dried)
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1 onion
2 tbsp flour
2-4 tbsp semolina
butter
salt, dried mint
for the yogurt sauce:
1+1/2 cup yogurt
1 egg
1+1/2 tbsp flour
