Unfortunately, the government- beginning at local levels...and going up, uses claims of people being " delusional" and/or incompetent for corrupt and terrifying purposes of discrediting people such as whistleblowers. I learned that BIG corporate healthcare and a huge network of associated "players" will do any and all things that those in power require them to do. The legal system (including government) and healthcare are in bed together. (Giving government MORE control is the dumbest most frightening thing around.) Big industries make MONEY by making roadkill of innocent, vulnerable "disposable" persons.

I am reading the book and it is a good read--part detective/mystery story and part history of psychology and psychiatry in the 1970s and beyond. I have worked in a psychiatric hospital for children and remember the 1973 Rosenhan study as being very important in abnormal psychology college classes.
