Drums definitely need to be louder, but it's a perfect follow-up to "Pain". This like when a credible villain in an RPG kind of gets sidelined for a few games, makes a few appearances as sidequest enemies for a few more, and then the next game's villain actually has that previous villain working for them, and also using the new villain's resources.
