The Youtful Undertaker models should be up here as well, they put no effort into it at all, in 2K16, for “Ministry” Taker💀, they just slapped a beard and hair on Older Undertaker and called it a day. They didn’t get it right until a full decade later in the 2K20s 😭

That was pretty much all the retro models of the older wrestlers. In 2K19, they used a present-day scan of Kurt for his two models, and it looked terrible. It took a new development team to finally figure out how to properly de-age people in the graphics.

I have a theory about the RAW Triple H model. If you look at the Edge model in Here Comes the Pain its clearly just the Shut Your Mouth model imported as it was being developed while he was out with his neck injury RAW would have been developed while HHH was out with his quad injury and it looks like thats just the Just Bring It model imported over.

Another thing that bugged me about Austin in SvR2010 to WWE '12 is that he looked anorexic. His legs were way too skinny, and that giraffe neck did him no favors. Honestly, you need to throw all the retro variants of modern day wrestlers pre-2k15 on this list, because literally all the do is cut and paste their models and just slap on their retro hair and attires and call it a day. Hogan in his 60's wearing his 80's attire, 2002 Kane having jowls, current day Kurt Angle looking like he's wearing a painted on wig, it's straight up awful and lazy. Look at the 3 Hogans in SvR06; 80's Hogan's face looked much younger than current and Hollywood Hogan, or Legend Undertaker looking much younger than 2004 Undertaker in the original SvR, They looked like their real life counterparts. Yes, in WWE '13 and 2k14, they cut and pasted current Undertaker's model and used that as a base for his 90's and ABA variants, but at least they actually put in the effort for his face and actually removed his wrinkles, and it actually looked great. Now you're telling me they can no longer do that? It's just pure laziness.

Even though I've played that game dozens of times, I'll still zoom by Dusty in the roster selection and find my self going "Wait when was Dustin Rhodes in SVR '07 as himself?" only to do a double take and see that it's "allegedly" supposed to be his dad Dusty.
