The Youtful Undertaker models should be up here as well, they put no effort into it at all, in 2K16, for “Ministry” Taker💀, they just slapped a beard and hair on Older Undertaker and called it a day. They didn’t get it right until a full decade later in the 2K20s 😭

That was pretty much all the retro models of the older wrestlers. In 2K19, they used a present-day scan of Kurt for his two models, and it looked terrible. It took a new development team to finally figure out how to properly de-age people in the graphics.

I have a theory about the RAW Triple H model. If you look at the Edge model in Here Comes the Pain its clearly just the Shut Your Mouth model imported as it was being developed while he was out with his neck injury RAW would have been developed while HHH was out with his quad injury and it looks like thats just the Just Bring It model imported over.

I said this in another video but i'll state it again: 2K really got lazy when they moved the series to the PS4/XBoxOne generation. I remember back in 2K14 which was the game before the move, that almost all the superstars who had Retro/Legend versions of themselves had unique face scans and looked actually de-aged (with some exceptions like Cena, HHH, and Orton). From 2K15 onwards on the next gen, they just lazily used the current faces and body types of the wrestlers and just had them wear their old gear and called it a day
