Coming Home to Autism

Күн бұрын

Answering all the hard questions, do I think autism is caused by vaccines? Did I do anything different in my pregnancies? How to manage meltdowns? And addressing trolls..phew this was a hard one to film.
Autism is a developmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. Parents usually notice signs during the first three years of their child's life.
Many causes of autism have been proposed, but understanding the theory of causation of autism is incomplete. Research indicates that genetic factors predominate. The heritability of autism, however, is complex, and it is typically unclear which genes are involved. In rare cases, autism is associated with agents that cause birth defects. Many other causes have been proposed, such as childhood immunizations, but numerous epidemiological studies have shown no scientific evidence supporting any link between vaccinations and autism.

Thank you so much for your video's! Our son is almost 3 years old and on early intervention for a diagnosis. We cry a lot, but also try the best thing we can do for him. We love him so much!! Your words and video's really helps us through this emotional rollercoaster. Our son also had antibiotics after birth because my membranes have been broken for more than 72 hours. Here in the Netherlands they think this could have had a impact. Thank you for your inspiring words! Dylan is amazing and you are an amazing mother!

Most people ask questions on causes because they want to try to help others, help their next child and know if it could have been prevented. Not to pay attention to this doesn’t help other children or parents. It’s great that you changed your routine on what you did with the other children you have birthed and I hope it helped with the births. God bless you and you quest to guide others with children in their autism journey.

oh you have a big thumbs up and a lot of respect. I've just watched 6 videos of yours back 2 back . Was reliving some of the moments i had with a child when one of the assignment i had taken up as a shadow teacher with child who was on the spectrum. It was a intense journey to support the child and work towards creating an inclusive classroom. And it is the love and respect i have for this child for teaching me all that i know today , that i continue to seek out more n more on autism and that's how i stumbled upon ur videos. Thanks you so much for your open sharing, it has revived my passion for teaching young kids and supporting that one child who might needs an extra attention.

I just found your channel and watched all of your videos. I love your content, very honest and informative. I have a 6 year old girl with severe autism, she is non verbal, still in nappies and absolutely amazing!! 😀💖💖. Like you, I took a while to come to terms with it, but once I accepted it and embraced autism, life became so much easier. I have 4 kids aged 17, 12, 9 and 6. Only the 6 year old has ASD, the other 3 are neurotypical. I have already learnt so much from your videos, keep them coming. Much love from Australia 💖💖💖

Just discovered this channel! Thank you to Tara and her family for all these! I will be a loyal watcher from here on out! You're clearly an AMAZING mother, and I love these videos because I can relate to some of this stuff directly! My son was just diagnosed recently. He is very social and is, I don't know, more "higher functioning" . . . if that's the right term? (I'm still figuring out how to position people on this spectrum. Help, please.) But he has a lot of odd behavior, quirks, repetitiveness, etc. I am totally new to this and learning as I go! And I hope to join this online community as well and interact!

Hey there thanks for subscribing so nice to meet you. That’s great your son is social and wants friends dylan does too. Gosh learning the lingo is so hard as it’s forever changing. It’s now Called a spectrum as even though in some areas they can seem high functioning in some areas they struggle in others . Dylan is verbal and social but struggles massively in areas . I’m so pleased you have joined us and I love this community we are building to help each other . Always here if you want to chat . X

@@ComingHometoAutism Great, thanks! Always happy to chat, and if there's any way I can help others, please let me know! Oh, and one more question. (Because I am legit new to this.) So it's not like you have *one* place on the spectrum? You don't like put your "X" or whatever on the line at a certain point and say, basically, "You are here."? You have areas of the spectrum and score differently in each area? Interesting...
@chrisalexis6425
@chrisalexis6425 4 жыл бұрын
Oh, and one MORE question, if that's alright, haha. Sometimes my son says things he knows he shouldn't. Like "I want coal for Christmas." Or "I don't love you." He'll immediately take them back and INSIST he didn't mean them. He knows they're wrong/false, but it's like he cannot resist saying them for whatever reason. Any knowledge or experience with that?
@ComingHometoAutism
@ComingHometoAutism 4 жыл бұрын
Hey no there is no one place it’s all just the spectrum now. It was upsetting many people with autism who were considered high functioning because they could talk but they were struggling in other areas. Your son is saying things for reaction it sounds like. Dylan says random things like this too. He doesn’t even know what is saying half the time . X

Chris did you know that there are more than 77.000.000 cases of autism worldwide, mainly caused by vaccines ?....here in YT at least two Christians who talked to Jesus in their dreamvisions, asking Him about the vaccine, Jesus answered that the DNA changing Covid vacc is (also) the Mark Of The Beast (next to RFID chip and tattood ID) Jesus additionally said that - one gets a demonic DNA, and will therefore not be redeemable anymore - Besides a recent research/study done in Israel, on the Covid Vaccine, revealed that is causes infertility to males! (depopulation agenda) ... The presidents of several African countries, like Ghana, Nigeria have openly exposed that they have been bribed with billions and billions of dollars to force a mandatory DNA altering vaccination on the African population...(the mainstream media have been totally silent about that !) Still, why would anyone accept any Vacc. that has not even been tested at least for 6 years, as they should !!!..even preferably 10-12 years before being used on humans ..besides, have there been done any independent studies on any particular vaccin, according "the golden standard"- done "double blinded placebo tests"?...Folks, the long term effects of the Covid vaccin are TOTALLY NOT proven at all!!!! Still the majority of humanity will "wellcome" the Covid vacc. and get altered DNA, like sheep lead to be slaughtered....It is like what Jesus said about the days of Noah...at Noah's time the world population did also undergo altering of DNA....due to the demonic fallen angels/ Nephilim... Besides there is no time left, the DNA changing VACCINATION (also MARK OF THE BEAST !) is according CDC expected to begin (1st)of November in US, as well as the start of the Covid vacc in Israel ! ....does nobody wonder, if the Lord will allow that to happen to innocent kids, and true worshippers? ..Watchmen, open your eyes ! ... we are at "THE MOMENT"of a LOUD 📯trumpet!📯. "THE MOMENT" that truly devoted worshippers, and "all KIDS below 12 years old" will be lifted up🌈 TIME IS ABSOLUTELY RUNNING OUT !!! why at the moment ?? ...Noah went into the ARK 🌈OCT31 !!!... Last fully ripened"FIG" HARVEST is🌈OCT31 !!!......THE NEW YEAR starts when the FULL MOON is in VIRGO, and the SUN in ARIES, so THIS COMING🌈OCT31-1NOV is THE TRUE FEAST OF 📯📯📯TRUMPETS📯📯📯..... also 7th seal opened 🌈OCT31!!! ...the extremely Rare Full Blue"HARVEST"🌐moon🌈 OCT31!!!....According a very compelling Enoch calendar, 🌈OCT31 is the TRUE FEAST OF TABERNACLES!!! ....... Like hundreds of mainly Christians, I also had dreamvisions revealing 🌈OCT31, as the AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD !!!! (all happening at Halloween☠️OCT31!!) ......... What about the CBS movie of 1994, "WHITHOUT WARNING" premiered 🌈OCT31!!! It is about RAPTURE+DISASTERS happening unexpected 🌈OCT31!!!!..... Watch also the profound upload: "The Return Of The King": "Feast of Trumpets/Yom Kippur/ TABERNACLES/ on same day 🌈 OCT31!!!" (Even the church of Mormons claiming 2020 being the year of the great🌈HARVEST!!) "And I will raise him up at the LAST DAY " (the BODY of Christ, the truly devoted Christians!)🌈All coincidence? Don't think so !!! .. Will Jesus and millions of angels come (at) ONCE IN A BLUE🌐MOON?"...(and did Jesus not say .."signs in the moon.....etc", related to his Coming ?)

A lot of things the same - big hugs! Firstly, I also found a sibling was the best thing for my autistic son - he instantly went into big brother mode, with a sense of maturity; it also made parenting easier as they get a bit older, as they can play together. It took a huge load off me to be his sole source of attention. Secondly, I had Alex genetically tested as part of his autism diagnosis - and he did come back as having a chromosomal abnormality, contributing to his autism. It’s called a “chromosomal micro array” (it’s just a blood single blood test, that gets sent for gene study), and was suggested by his paediatrician. The results actually took a load of weight and self blame off my shoulders. It wasn’t anything I’d done or didn’t do, it wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t what I ate or drank, or my fault that he was delayed in speaking or walking - yes I blamed myself that maybe I wasn’t a very good mother; it definitely wasn’t immunisation; he was born with it, he was born this way. Thirdly, my boys also attend a specialist school, and it’s the best thing for them early on, as they get almost one on one therapy based teaching, and the confidence to engage socially amongst their peers. In Australia, if they get to an advanced level, they do start to integrate into a mainstream school. My little man was in second grade, advanced in maths and science, when they moved him up a class and was integrated with mainstream school two days a week. You are doing great, love you!

I just discovered your videos and I'm enjoying them. Thank you for making them! My own daughter showed many symptoms of autism at 12-14 months old; with the help of "alternative" medical practitioners, special diet, etc., she turned around and developed nearly normally. In my search for answers, I learned some interesting things that I'd like to pass on to you and others. First, a psychiatrist who had treated hundreds of autistic children told me two important things: "You've got to fix her gut. Get her on a really good probiotic with as many species of beneficial bacteria as possible." and "*Many* babies given antibiotics at birth [as my child was for possible meconium in lungs] become autistic." Another doctor, himself the father of an autistic child, told me: "The babies given antibiotics at birth grow up with nothing but clostridia and candida in their guts, unless we intervene." The third doctor, a specialist in autism said: "Babies with imbalanced gut flora are far more vulnerable to vaccine injury. Your baby already had one very bad reaction to vaccination. She should not receive any more vaccines, of any type, at any time. We already know her immune system will not respond normally to them." So you are right on target when you talk about gut health being important! For my child, the GAPS diet (which is gluten and dairy free) was a life-saver. I'm sure your calm, positive videos will help many parents! I'm looking forward to watching more of them.

After receiving the covid vaccine myself, I experienced an adverse event with permanent disabling health consequences. It directly effected my gut health and caused brain inflammation, among other things. As someone who experienced adverse vaccine event, as an adult, I can say that it would not surprise me if there is a connection between vaccines and autism.

Thanks for your brave comment. Unfortunately you’ll be shut down and ostracized if you share your experience with vaccination injury. My son was verbal and seemingly typical developing until I got him his mmr vaccine. Completely lost eye contact and ability to respond. Stopped eating almost everything. Became chronically constipated to the point of being hospitalized. That’s my experience but no one will listen. So sad I can’t undo that choice. I’m not saying all vaccines will do this. But my experience was the two year vaccination appointment did it for my son.

Thanks for this very informative video. Could relate so much to it. I have an almost 5 year old son with ASD and GDD and an almost 2 year old son who is most likely the same and who I have referred for assessment. Waiting on genetic testing coming back on my oldest. Won't change anything but will be interesting to see nevertheless. It has made me question having a 3rd if I'm honest.

I appreciate your videos. They are so enlightening. I have had my great grandson for two years and he was diagnosed at about 18 months. He was born 2 months premature. I noticed when he was around a year old that he tapped repeatedly everything he touched or played with. He is four years old now, he loves to stack things especially his building blocks I bought him, his favorite toy. He is still wearing diapers. I was wondering how you potty trained Dylan. We are a household of females. He talks but most of it is repetition. He still babbles a lot. He loves to spin also and likes to be chased and scared like your son. He is very sensitive and cries at the drop of a hat. He also has a g-tube. He caught a bad cold from me at 2 1/2 and quit eating. He was only eating purée pouches stage 2 because he has a sensitivity to any food that has texture. The doctors considered that as failure to thrive. Any insights you have would be helpful.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Your a wonderful mama. Vaccines may not cause it, but they for sure are known to damage children as seen by vaccine courts. Other environmental factors like geoengineering are hurting us all and leaving heavy metals in our bodies. I seem to recall my son had his shots within two weeks of birth so that's super early and can make things very hard to discern. Knowledge is power and I'd tell every expecting mom to look into ingredients before getting them bc this knowledge can help other children and families.

I commented last night, live in Australia. I have a 31 year old daughter who is doing quite well. She was diagnosed at nearly 4 after her kinder teacher noted what we & her doctor had seen. The blind came down. Then she was diagnosed with a maybe, by the Autism experts here. Her biggest problem is awareness of danger. She cannot use public transport. She cannot read & write proficiently, but she has very good language. We were lucky she was always even tempered. I agree about the blame thing. It took us a long time to understand what caused her problem,which was in her family history. The genetic test interesting, I didn’t care either.

Recently I received a letter from my insurance with an authorization to do the genetic testing for my son and now I feel doubt about it. I mean is just like you said, is it going to change anything? But I also think on the research part because since now my son has it, it is more likely that his kids or my daughter's kids may have it and by that time, I want them to have more answers and hopefully some form of prevention or cure if I may say.

its a hard one, as i dont want autism to dictate my life to me. Will your daughter not have kids if there is an autism gene? you could alter her future life. its up to you and its such a personal journey. For me I didnt care and Dylan is a great mind who might one day make an invention to help clean up our air. Jennifer, did you know that there are more than 77.000.000 cases of autism worldwide, mainly caused by vaccines?....here in YT at least two Christians who talked to Jesus in their dreamvisions, asking Him about the vaccine, Jesus answered that the DNA changing Covid vacc is (also) the Mark Of The Beast (next to RFID chip and tattood ID) Jesus additionally said that - one gets a demonic DNA, and will therefore not be redeemable anymore - Besides a recent research/study done in Israel, on the Covid Vaccine, revealed that is causes infertility to males!

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and my 2 and a half year old toddler shows signs of ASD. so I am currently pursuing a diagnosis in order to get access to more help. he is currently nonverbal and hes mamas little boy as he has a hard time connecting with anyone else including my husband (step father who has been in his life since he was 1). he does not seem aware that i am pregnant at all and i am concerned with the transition from only child to older brother. How did dylan react to siblings to begin with? was there any regression? we also currently co sleep and I have been doing so since birth and i exclusivley breastfed him till 17 months. I was also wondering how to transition him to his own bed though he is non verbal. it gives me severe anxiety to imagine him away from me as i am VERY protective of him and am always worried something will happen to him due to my own anxiety.
@ComingHometoAutism
@ComingHometoAutism 4 жыл бұрын
BerryAdelineBombshel oh lovely I know this is hard. So it all slowly. Make him part of his room so show him all his favourite things in there a cozy bed calming colours on the wall. Be excited he will pick up on it. Even though he is non-verbal he will still understand you so if you say “this is ........ room “ and then show him your room again. You can show pictures of a baby in mummy tummy from a book. Dylan didn’t really regress he didn’t really understand I was pregnant at all when I brought the baby home I told him the baby was his. It was only when Luca was about two years old that he start to notice him 🤣 But it honestly was the best thing we ever did for Dylan as Luca is his best friend and understand him. Dylan also potty trained the same time as Luca as well so a lot of ways Luca bou put Dylan on. Please try not to worry I know it’s easier said than done but you need to look after yourself now. If you need to move him before baby comes do so early rather than later as you don’t want him to feel pushed out as soon as the baby comes along . Make his room his favourite place he wants to be so when you do the bedtime routine do some common games with him on the floor read some books in there that’ kind of thing. It’s all going to work out . You got this x
