If anyone with Autism is reading this please look into vitamin D and magnesium, I have autism and ADHD and it helped me so much more than any medication i tried, anxiety is not gone but so much more manageable than before I would never have dreamt it was possible.

Agreed. Usually dietary health and exercise fix many issues with mental health. Peter Attia talks about this enough that the people watching these videos should be making that connection by now haha.

@@srolesen Hey late response on my part- I don’t actually supplement very often because I try to get it from my foods. If I do supplement vitamin D I’ll usually take a megadose equivalent for one dosing because that’s how they typically treat Vit. D deficiency. I usually drink or eat things with magnesium or I’ll sprinkle a pinch of plain magnesium sulfate laxative into a drink or broth when I feel crampy/lethargic/constipated. Most insurances should cover blood tests for D and Mg to make sure you’re not deficient a couple times a year.

I found that the only thing that kept me in a calm state was starving so I resorted to eating disorders my whole life. In recent years I found fasting and ketogenic dietary habits which gives me a similar feeling.

I’m an adult male who is on the autistic spectrum. I’m about 3-4 weeks in with taking just 1 sulforaphane per day. It was so hard to resist taking 2 per day for so many reasons I can’t explain. Been dealing with autism my whole life so yes I am very eager for this to work. Other supplements in my stack: 1. 4-5 grams of potassium: Do your research on how important potassium plays for nerve function, neurotransmitters etc. I figured if our ancestors consumed 15Grams then I can step up my intake too. 2. Magnesium. 1-2grams. Again do your research but Magnesium also plays a role with neurotransmitters and other processes in the body. 3. Vitamin D: 10,000-12,000 IU 2 supplements along with 2-3 tablespoons of cod liver oil. 4. Vitamin K2: 300-400 mcg Other measures: I drink a lot more water than usual, reduced my salt intake, water only fasts regularly, proper diet, all so that I can ensure that I have clear kidney function to avoid any issues with consuming high potassium. Also in the process of meeting with a doctor to test my potassium levels, vitamin d levels again so I can document what my exact levels are. Proper kidney function imo was equally important so that I can ensure that I’m absorbing these minerals/vitamins safely. Now!!!!!! For the moment we all been waiting for. After 3-4 weeks in something weird happened. One morning i woke up and I came down with a severe fever that lasted 24hrs. I couldn’t sleep that night. Didn’t take anything for it the whole night because of the kidney topic above so I was miserable for 24hrs. Woke up with the worst headache of my life that lasted for another 1-2 days. Again didn’t take anything for (2) days because of the kidney topic above so I was miserable. It’s December here in Philadelphia and I figured it’s that time of year so the fever was not caused by my protocol but due to flu season etc. But here’s what’s transpired since then. After that i went back on my protocol. What if I told you something miraculous is happening. I’m practically in tears while im writing this because after recovering from the fever I haven’t procrastinated like I usually do. It’s something I’ve dealt with my whole life. I’m getting so many things done and it’s scary. Because I’ve struggled with this my whole life. It’s like a procrastination fog has been lifted. I have practically thrown out every other supplement in my stack except for the ones above to make sure this is all i take. To make sure I don’t experience any other vitamin deficiencies i ordered Moringa supplements to maintain those levels. But I’m not taking any multivitamins because they include so many additional things and i wanted to see if the simple protocol above did anything. I can’t even express or articulate how many supplements I’ve taken over the years but nothing has made me feel the way I feel now mentally. What I feel is not a placebo effect. Something in my brain is changing. Please do a follow video and share what happened with these studies. I will continue to update this thread. If I get the courage and somehow fight back these tears of joy I’ll try and make a video explaining what I went through. ❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

My brother has autism, so therefore I am keen on any new or progressive information -- with that being said, this response was very weak.

People get anxious because of sensory overload and trying to keep up with social cues. Did he seriously suggest opioids to help the anxiety?? I have a better suggestion. How about we give neurotypicals pills that would help them accept autistic people?
