The county of San Diego has instituted inclusionary hiring practices to recruit neurodivergent individuals to the workforce and ensure departments have the proper skills to interview, train, and work with these members of the San Diego community. Masking is something we're taught, often in abusive ways, to do. I'd put money down that there are a lot of autistic women/non binary who aren't diagnosed or even know they're autistic working already.
