This makes me cry.. I can't imagine the looks they get when they're in public, people who are so quick to judge and stare including myself bc we are not fully educated about autism. It's nice to educate ourselves about this so that next time we see an episode like this in person we are fully aware and not ignorant. Adam is so special and his family is so blessed to have him. God bless you guys! What a sweet young man

We are going through the same thing but our boy can talk and communicate that's the only difference and people think he is a normal child that is spoiled when he is not
@bluetech77535 жыл бұрын
It is very difficult for the general public to understand so in most cases you just have to ignore the staring some people may even take their phones out and record when he was pinning the kid to the ground in the parking garage from my perspective that almost looks like child abuse add to most people in the general public who don't have autistic children might think the same. I'm not sure if this kid has autism or other issues but I do know that autistic children can meltdowns they can't control it it's strictly involuntary. I have three nieces that are autistic. So I understand what they're going through in this video I can't predict their personal feelings cuz I don't know how they feel but overall I know what's going on.

The way your boy is ,reminds me of my son,I can see and feel how tough it is, he looks like a great boy, my son is also non verbal behaves similar to this,the way he kisses and gives affection, my son is exactly like this, brings a tear to my eyes, hard to see anybody going through this,cause they are still human and have all the emotions and feelings, the autism thing just eludes me, and there's no answer,I find myself everyday bout 50 Times asking myself wtf is it and where did it come from... I wish I had the power to heal and take it all away from our children make things right, but I just can't, anyways,all the best with your son and family wish yous all the best, god bless and take care.

We are parents to a 30 year old autistic, we are in exact situation as that weve seen of you and adam in a mall under a meltdown, the difference is our son then is about 350lbs, and every failure to see his usual saleslady in his regular store (inside mall) ignited every meltdown, and the most difficult was he has usual girl cashier(teller) in highway tollgate, and once the usual girl teller becomes a boy teller was an automatic mood swing continued to a meltdown and were inside the car, those were the dark days that back then seems impossible to resolve, but weve coped, thanks to the almighty who created us all., Be at your strongest when hes needs became the needs of adult.

AMIN

MIMIE HANDY kok tau adm banyak jmur?
@molly85076 жыл бұрын
Makasih.

As someone who is on the spectrum, I can tell you, malls are really difficult for us. There are so many sights, sounds, smells, lights, movement...it is overwhelming to the senses! It makes us feel very uncomfortable, and sometimes it is even physically painful! Echoing sounds are very painful to me, as are bright lights and strong smells (especially when I smell something that is spicy hot!). I am glad that you are sharing the hard times as well as the good times with Adam. People need to know that not every screaming child is being "bratty". We stim because we HAVE TO to feel better! Great video!
