Special Caribbean Cruise For Children With Autism

Autism on the Seas and a Royal Caribbean cruise changed a Texas family’s life forever. Kim and Jason Ansley have two children, 6-year-old Jakob and 11-year-old Kaleb, who has non-verbal autism. The Ansley’s had only vacationed a couple times since Kaleb was born. It proved to be difficult with his autism because they would often receive complaints about his behavior.
When Kim heard about Autism on the Seas, she applied for a dream Royal Caribbean Cruise for her family. Autism on the Seas is special needs travel agency granting vacations to families and individuals with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and all cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides cruisers with trained staff that assist families in accommodating typical cruise services as well as providing specialized respite and private activities. Royal Caribbean is a certified autism friendly cruise line offering initiatives for families living with autism. This includes sensory friendly films, toys, dietary menu options and overall autism friendly products and service.
Their dream came true when the family was granted a cruise! It was everything they hoped for and more. They were able to enjoy a family vacation without having to worry about judgement, safety issues or limitations! The Ansley family had the cruise of a lifetime with the help of Autism on the Seas and Royal Caribbean!
