Autism Sensory Issues from Plants?

Can plants cause sensory issues in ASD individuals? We know that clothes tags, certain textures, bright lights, loud sounds, etc. can all cause sensory issues, but there is still so much more we don't know about autism.

Hi I have not commented on your videos for a while (due to struggles) but I have expected ASD and ADHD and I just wanted to say that plants can be common as a sensory issue for many people with autism because I experience it myself. I'm okay with flowers however, poisonous ivy and long grass triggers my ASD and makes it hard for me to cope. It causes me stress and anxiety and I immediately try to get out of the situation even if I'm with my family (I'm 15 years old and I struggle with plants as well)

I just found out that he can actually hear them. And they are probably in distress so they are making louder sounds.

Plants definitely can cause sensory issues. I hate being touched by plants, unless I'm eating them!
