I have autism and ADHD and I relate to a big part of this. But depending on where you are on the spectrum, the way you act differs from person to person but it can be quite similar. Me personally, my mind is like a pendulum. Sometimes I can be more one way than the other. One day I can be completely quite trying to hyper fixate on cartoons and create my world around them, or be totally blunt and expressionless and awkward while talking to people. Or I could be more of the other, extremely energetic, distracted by certain stimuli, inability to sit still, poor volume control, etc. it was difficult growing up with it but eventually I learned how to use my brain to my advantage.

My family dropped the massive bombshell by saying i might be autistic a few months ago and ive been self conscious since. For years they've said im useless, i never learn, to stay still and stop "habits". Even giving me cheap gummys and fish oil capsules to try to male me "smart". They still expect me to fail even though im getting better grades every year and i thought that would be enough from people saying something was wrong with me. Im still in thought of not being autistic or having ADHD like they say i might, but im not going to be convinced until im diagnosed (even though its been like 6 months and this is my last year in school do idk). But seeing videos like this with shows im into comfort me. I also really like your fic. Your amazing :)

Man. Im not autistic (i do have adhd tho) but i wish i had an autistic friend. I know what its like to get ignored and having to bottle up everything because no one actually cares. Or atleast i feel like that. Having to mask so other people don't think you're "weird" really sucks. If i had an autistic friend, i would listen to them all the time, no matter what. I would love and care about them the way they are. I would stay by their side no matter what because i know how it feels to feel lonely. And i hate that feeling. My dad called me autistic one time as joke (it's not that serious) because of the way I walked up to him, I was skipping a lot and doing funny gestures while going to him. And I'm not gonna lie, I rolled with it because I feel like I fall into the autistic spectrum, sometimes ADHD as well, I can't focus properly, I stim like, a lot, I can't sit properly, and I just go into my own world in my head.
