hi, are this programmable in the way to dose form example 5ml of a liquid in a period of 5 hs the same time everyday?

Not that I don’t enjoy the longer formats but the three minute Thursday is quickly developing into a rapid resource guide and I like it I like it a lot.

Just some advice on the parastoltic pump is to twist the tube every month or two so the rollers aren't running over the same area over and over. I'm not sure how expensive replacement tubes are for the jabeo but for the ones we use at work they can be quite expensive. Keep up the great work!

Great timing. Marine aquarists have been using auto-dosers for years, and I've been wondering how to use them for planted freshwater tanks. This video is good food for thought. 👍

Great video again!! I love the 3 Minute Thursday series! That looks like a awesome dosing pump! Never seen one before! Keep up the good work Cory and Jimmy! Love the quality!

Fish room goals, slowly but surely. I am glad that you are doing reviews again. Its hard to trust the industry, but you can always trust AquariumCo-Op. Thanks again for the video. Next up, Fluval Plant Spectrum Light.

I've always considered picking up one of those but never could justify it for my setup or in my budget. I ended up getting a single dosing pump from China and will be doing some testing with it soon! I heard the hardest part is calibrating these dosing pumps to the correct amount, but I hope it's not too difficult! Great video Cory & keep up the good work!

How has this dosing pump been doing Corey? Its been three years are you still using the unit or have you moved to something else now a days?

do you think something like this would work to pump infusoria or a solution of golden pearl and tank water into a fry tank couple times a day, i have my breeding tank set up to automatically pull eggs into another chamber would be really cool if i could get something to automatically feed the fry that hatch in there.

Great video You mentioned dosing at 9pm for those that water change the next day at say 2:30 Some say dosing fertilizer at end of the day is better than at first thing in day Your thoughts Corey?

This is the same type pump system used on commercial dishwashers in restaurants to dispense detergents. I had the idea to make something similar to this a few years ago. Someone beat me to market lol.

How do you know when you have the right dosage? Is it something that shows up on your water test? If your nitrate is high right before the next dosage time, you have to dial it back or something? Sorry, im a beginner and was planning on using an autodoser, not quite sure how it all works. ;)

Idk is this really needed? Seems kinda tedious if you have multiple and more than 4 ferts, which I do. What if you want to change it up and vary it?

This was perfect. I had already been considering this, knowing how marine folks love their dosing pumps, and lo and behold Cory had already done this video! Question: in this, you mentioned that one of your products pumps/doses at 2mL vs another at 1mL...but I’m seeing they all show 1mL per pump right now on the website...is that just outdated info in the video or am I misinterpreting the website? Keep up the great work - your content has been invaluable to me!

How to prevent a fluid to go back slowly to the container? I think my dosage amounts goes to hell once a pump has pulled back its fluid couple of centimeters and then has to work for 3-4 s longer to push it again to start dosing. I mean, after couple of days from pump calibration an amount of dosed fert shrinks depending on how much of fluid got back to the container. I really cant fix this issue.

Hi all! quick question, when my pump doesn't proceed to dosage for some time (like 24h), the inlet tube liquid slowly flows back to the solution container. What can i do about it because i thought peristaltic would retain the liquid when off ?

I have the same issue tbh

If I don't have a sump is there any way to get the fertilizer into my tank without running the tubes up to the tank? Right now I have sponge filters but I want to switch to a canister once I move and get more room. Is there some way to tie in the fertilizer into my canister output line or something?
@AquariumCoop5 жыл бұрын
The tubes don’t have to go into the water, just below the lid.
