That was a great, honest and realistic demo; mercedes-benz produce crazy amounts of brake dust and eight months is a very long time for that dust to etch into the finish of the wheel and your product released most of the brake dust without agitation, that was really impressive, on top of that to be able to remove all of the brake dust with a very light agitation, it really deserves credit. I can't wait to try this product. On a side note, I like your channel a lot because of your honest opinion on products and techniques, you're not trying to just convince people that abc products are the best so they buy them and you can make money like obsessed garage.

Man what a video. I would say your wheel product is a no go. As an owner of a detail shop that took way too long. The fastest way to clean that brake dust is wheel acid. Spray on and literally 5 seconds later hit it with the pressure washer and it will look almost brand new. No scrubbing, no gimmicks, I will make a video to show in the future. Keep on testing those products. The acid we use is about 100 dollars for 5 gallons.
@autofanaticcars4 жыл бұрын
wheel acid is toxic, destroys the brake calipers, suspension hardware and wheel finish over time and it is harmful to inhale any mist or blow back during use. This product also has gone through 3 revisions and is sold worldwide in 165 countries because of how effective it is and safe with no fumes and no damage to the brake system and finish.

Pretty sure most average vehicle owners would be lucky to have their wheel barrels cleaned every couple years or sometimes never in its life time. He made it sound like the 8 months of grime and brake dust was a torture test. No arguing that wheel was dirty but detailers are from another planet.
@briand.16946 жыл бұрын
In all honesty, I truly expected much more wheel dust to come off, especially using a pressure washer to rinse the solution off. I get that you are selling a product, but you often do side-by-side comparison with another product. I cheap out on my wheels and use Simple-Green. I think it would have done at least equally as well as the cleaner you are using considering that you still had to agitate it to get the majority of the grime off the wheel. IMO. . .
@fireblade2745 жыл бұрын

@zombiejuice45425 жыл бұрын
Everyone in the comments are so ignorant talking about how a $2-$4 cleaner does the job better or just as good. This wheel cleaner is so great because it’s safe on ceramic coating and other sealants and more importantly, if you don’t have coating on your wheels like I do, it does not harm your wheel’s finish. Most of you must not care about your cars paint, I understand soaps like purple power are good at cleaning but at maximum it should only be used 1-2 times a year because it’s a very acidic strong soap and will slowly bite away on your finish. PP should only be used when your car needs a deep cleaning. This product is a gem, only complaint I have is shipping lol but even at that the bottle technically can make a couple of gallons & another thing is that I have to buy a dedicated sprayer to use it. I really think this is a fantastic wheel cleaner that I hope to buy for my car and my mobile detailing clients.

Auto Fanatic - not only that, but when I diy my tire rotation (every 7k miles), I clean the suspension components: springs, shocks, sway bar & links, upper & lower arms, tie rods, steering rack, wheel well plastic & parts of the frame. Rears it's the same but I also do the stock dual mufflers: tips(chrome), mufflers(chrome), & exhaust pipes (they look new). The dealership service dept freaks out when they jack my car where you can walk underneath. ["This car has 120k miles!!!!"] My car is cleaner than most exotic cars costing over 100k used.

I have had my vehicle since 2016 and I never took the tires off to clean the inside of the rims and I never will. I mean who does that ?

Sad that some people treat their cars this way. I've always taken great care of every car that I've owned even the cheap beaters. Why spend so much money on a luxury car if you're not going to take care of it? I know that not everyone is an "AutoFanatic" but 8 months of build up is too much. Great video and would love to try your product! I recommend your channel to all of my car buddies.

Chris Hayes NYC is so fast paced nobody has time to care for their cars i cringe daily seeing mega dollar cars all beat up. automatic car washes are a massive business up this way for a reason.

I totally understand. Just sad to see this happen to nice cars. Keep the great videos coming! Thanks!!!

Too much what? Why should any owner be bothered if the inside of their wheels are caked with brake dust? Most owners of vehicles like this will change their cars between 12 and 36 months, even if you leave brake dust on that long, the surface of the inside of your alloy will remain strong enough to do its job. They won’t lose anything in depreciation, it’s just dirt and at the end of the day, it’s just a car. A to B, a thing to transport people around, luxury or not, it’s just a car!

Take a look at a British company called Bilt Hamber. They make really good products. Their Wheel cleaner, "Auto Wheels" is THE best wheel cleaner I have ever used. It's non-acid and it's also a fallout remover.

Mercedes has a special paint structure that helps to remove such stuff with water and soap only. Now go and try this with only water and soap on an aftermarket wheel :D

I like your hose nozzle where can I purchase one of those it seems like it's a lot stronger than the 1 that you buy at home depot and at Other stores please comment back

I use a product that's wheel acid on wheels that neglected. As it runs off, it takes the contamination with it. Brown. Don't leave it long, because it's acid. It works.

Super Clean. Then hose. Done

you obviously never cleaned such a wheel but superclean even at full strength would not make this job any easier or touch less.
@ecurb105 жыл бұрын
Auto Fanatic I assume normally you'd rotate the wheel occasionally, as it looks like you only really cleaned the bottom half of the wheel, barely touching the top. It'd be easy to favour the bottom as it would be easier to do.
