In order to determine how effective your product is, you should do a comparison video with 4 wheels being cleaned with 3 other different products like Meguiars Wheel Brightener and 2 other effective wheel cleaners. How much product are you using to clean all 4 wheels. Seem like a ton to me, but since it's foam it's hard to evaluate.

Poor boys spray and rinse along with Malco Brake Off are easily the best wheel cleaners on the market overall. 99% of time it will remove everything with no actual contact with a brush from what I’ve noticed 🤷‍♀️

wrong i did a test full strength with all of those cleaners on the same car and all needed scrubbing and choked the hell out of us doing the testing. if any cleaner is strong enough to eat through this without scrubbing it is so extremely harmful to the finish and the user and that is the purpose behind what I created here, a safer and better way to do it.

@@gufiaito69able spend time to understand and read more on my website on the purpose of my product, it was not designed to be the strongest and most caustic like Poorbooys or Megs wheel brighter,( Harsh Acids) this was developed for people who have nice cars and care about their wheels and investment not detail shops looking for the fastest and cheapest way to clean a customers trashed wheels. We have plenty of those products already on the market, Customer with Brembo brakes are tired of the rust issues, brake squeal and toxic smell using it. life is too short to be lazy and cheap with cleaning products that will destroy your eyes, lungs and skin let alone the cars wheel finish (acids destroy and strip them in an instant and ruin anodized brake calipers and rotor hats) and braking system.

So your wheel cleaner is safe for clear coat, and it's capable of breaking down iron particles in the wheels. Could someone use this in replacement of something like Iron-X for paint decontamination? If so, what would be an acceptable dilution for that?

his style wheel would drive me nuts to own because of the lack of cleaning internally due to the small access even with a wheel brush you cant get in there. I think MB and and BMW make these styles on the bigger cars to conceal the crazy brake dust for this type of owner.

I owned a Bimmer with 20 spoke wheels once. Cleaning was a pain. Never choosing that wheel design again.

I just received my order and my initial assessment after cleaning 3 cars is; 1-It works well on wheels that reasonably dirty and/or you have a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule. It does help if wheels have a clear coat or some coating them in regards to cleaning without agitation. 2- I have a set of wheels off of a 2008 Audi A4 that I purchased at a salvage yard a year ago and it took some elbow grease with 00 and 0000 steel wool to clean but they did come clean. It was not spray and rinse and changed dilution to 3 ounces per 16 ounces of water per instructions for heavy duty cleaning. I like the fact that its not as caustic as acid based cleaners like Meguiars Wheel Brightener which I have used for years until now. Much better than Sonax but not as strong as Meguiars Wheel Brightener but safer for your skin and lungs IMO. Just my .02 Cheers.

keep using it and play around with your dilutions and methods and we tested this against Megs at full strength and almost died from the off gassing fumes and it did not do a better job on trashed wheels we found than our cleaner. Safer is always better than more caustic and that was the goal with this product.

Finally used the wheel cleaner at the middle dilution ratio on my new wheels. They are coated and top with BeadMaker. Was still not a touch-less wash but this is the first time wiping the wheel down after and the rag was spotless. Even the back side of the towel hitting the rotor/caliper area. Ill prob at least try the higher ratio. More than happy with the current ratio.

try the pivoting pressure washer nozzles i showed weeks back they make a HUGE difference with cleaning wheels. glad you like it so far and isn't it nice not to smell a nasty iron activator product.

Auto Fanatic haha, btw i dont own a pressure washer. Use the Worx 40v hydroshot. I also have the pivoting nozzle. Little bit of a pain but i just rotate the whole gun to angle the spray when nozzle is at 90°. I did not use it yesterday because the battery was low and needed for rinsing with DI water. Next time i will try it out.

You new wheel cleaner is the best non-acid cleaners I have seen to date. Agree that those wheels are a PITA for maintenance, like your latest wheels on Mustang way better.

Oh, you didn't have to say it goes through an automatic car wash. The tire shine residue left behind on the wheel told me instantly. That's what the grease was. the tire shine machine is a 7 foot long 8 inch tall brush that pushes out against the tire and shines it. Anything with a low profile tire or larger wheel will get it on the face of the wheel. It HAS to be wiped off because nothing else removes it.

Those tires looked fairly new when you pulled the wheel off. If so, all that grease was more than likely from sub-par mounting lubricant. No telling how long its been there but i know even the "good stuff" is a pita when left on the wheels for a few weeks.

the grease was from the road or the Airmatic is leaking oil onto the wheels, it was very thick and sticky felt almost like the stuff you lube up poly suspension bushings with both front wheels had grease that day it was very odd. We also mounted these tires back in October of 17

If you also want get rid off the black staining you need a maximum solution of 5% hydrofluoric acid. Application spray on agigate let dwell for 2 minutes and hose off with highpressure washer, then the rim will be factory new. But I like what you get out of your non acid wheel cleaner!

I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY BOTTLE! I think I'm going to make 1 gallon at the 12:1 ratio like you did here for when I need it but my go to ratio is going to be 8:1 and I will always make it with distilled water as it's going to sit for quite some time, especially the 12:1 ratio because I don't see using that on my own car till I go down to the Tail of the Dragon in the fall of 2019, no more color changing wheel cleaners for me, THIS IS IT! My wheels are coated at all times, with either paint coating or spray on, hose off sealants, so between that process and this wheel cleaner at 8:1 I'm always going to have the cleanest wheels around. I may be getting some 1552 Intergrale wheels for my Abarth, in white, so once again, THIS is the product for me, no doubt about it!

Do you have any suggestions for the pitting ? The barrels on my GMC are finely machined so over the winter, brake dust accumulated, causing pitting. I tried heavy clay and Iron removers..... Zip. I'm thinking about having them powdercoated... I would ask them if they can smooth the barrel... Wheel ceramic coating would be a given afterwards.

most older guys who own these high end cars are not fanatics like us so they do not care but the barrel is pretty bad mostly from the rocks around our roads, even my cars which are properly cared for are showing signs of barrel chips its sickening to see and comes with living in the NYC area unfortunately. its like driving on a gravel pit.

took 3 minute with a microfiber towel the wheel cleaner totally softened it to come right off, i think this cars Airmatic suspension may be broken causing oil or grease to get on the wheels.

once it is premixed in the IK9 i dump a gallon into the IK, doing the face and barrel i used maybe 1/3 of the gallon of mixture which is not much of the actual product and mostly water

This Mercedes certainly covers a lot of miles in such a hectic environment so the level of grime it accumulates seems normal for the level of care it gets. Where I live I had seen more extreme cases, but the cars were older and the conditions were a bit different. All above being considered, I have to say that the wheel cleaner seems to have broadened the usability of a conventional wheel cleaner: it is extremely active yet gentle with the user. Nicely targeted interest!

Raul glad you get it from this video the NYC roads and the weather destroys not only the wheels but everything else under the car which is why cars do not last long up this way. the gravel chips everything making the brake dust impossible to get out without a refinish job.

It makes me laugh that you always test products on new cars to make people think it does an amazing job, try it on an old set of wheel like 10 years + as i bet it wouldnt clean it that good

@@autofanaticcars you haven't got to prove anything. The bad results are there for everyone to see. The carbon deposits are still there after cleaning.

maybe you failed to watch but the barrel is all rock chipped and the finish is destroyed no cleaner in the world can fix a damaged finish, the point is proven this is what NYC driving does to wheels. No Clay or Iron decon would fix these wheels they are too far gone. If you used soap and water with a brush i would give you a min 35-40 min to do the same job
