For that people who having problem with connection, you need to change the app settings so it has permissions for storage and location. I had failed so many time than since I changed the settings it works fine.

So I'm guessing the Auto bit is wired into the dipped bit, and the light sensor acts as a switch. Would make sense, fairly simple design. But is that light sensor any good?

The sensor controls dipped and full beam. The light sensor is spot on as it’s completely customisable you can set when it comes on and goes off etc.

Is it 100% a Bluetooth one as there are some that aren’t Bluetooth enabled. Do you get the blue flashin auto light to show it’s “discoverable”?

jamie tucker okay you normally have to put it to dipped lights then back to auto and it’ll start flashing blue on the auto but. That tells you it’s in pairing mode. Then just open the app you don’t have to do anything in Bluetooth settings or anything and thanks very much man!

I can't connect it on both Android and Iphone (on Iphone it kepps crashing when u turn on the bluetooth while on android when u click scan its doing nothing), i tried with 3 apps and it just does not want to connect. Does anyone have an other app or a solution for this?

I bought this using the link you provided in the description (you should be on commission mate) do you know how to have the lights come on when you unlock it but not on when you lock the car?

Off the top of my head I can’t remember tbh! I haven’t got the app anymore either coz I replaced my phone. But you should be able to. Are you using the Chinese app ?

TVideo yeah the Chinese one, I only installed it in my golf tonight. I’ve left it in without changing any settings or anything so far. You still using it too?

I got the same one using your link, the app let's me click connect but it seems the bluetootg isn't paring, and 123456 doesn't work as a password so I'm unable to change any settings :( also the sidelights come on when dark but not headlights

Is it the Chinese symbol app you’re using or the English one ?

@@TVideouk it's English, says CF in like cyan blue on the app logo and the writing when opening the app is all English, seems to work apert from the bluetooth won't pair, when I click connect and change setting, press OK it doesn't save them

It wont work in my car. It has lights on 24/7. (Not even with key out of car it turns off) mines a 2001 Bora. And your pins are in diffrent spots then mine is in your plug.
