@lngtimesurfer20 күн бұрын
Universities are a racket because the corporate world demands it. I work in IT, got my degree, most of the classes/topics were years behind the industry (like decades), you really don't need a degree in IT, just an aptitude to learn, but the truth is you will make more or have more opportunities having one. I got head hunted out of school and within 2 years was making over six figures. Would have to fight tooth and nail or "wait"/work your way up for significantly longer to get the same opportunities from a strictly certification stand point which is absurd. It's a total racket.

A degree is not a silver bullet (be all end all) that will conquer the business world. To put it bluntly, anyone can get a degree, and the vampire education systems feeds off of that. A degree is a door opener, once inside, you still have to perform. The current educational system needs an absolute overhaul, which is an overly simplistic statement, I know.

Student loan debt is far worse than auto loan debt for the simple reason that it's almost impossible to discharge student loan debt in bankruptcy. So, if you default on your car loan, the car gets repo'd and sold at auction, you could file bankruptcy and the balance you owe on that car loan would be wiped out. Unless Bankruptcy law gets changed to treat student loans like any other nonpriority unsecured debt, then a person with student loan debt will be paying off that loan forever!!

You mentioned the down payments for LLP on two cars a couple videos ago, I’ve watched your interview with them a few times and would love for you to do a quick breakdown on how they structure their loans, typical down payment percentages, what they like to see dti in regards to what bank statements show vs what your payment will be, interest rates, can you sell it like a normal financed car or do they come in for a cut on the back end, sales tax recapture etc. I know it’ll be slightly different on a case by case basis but maybe just what you’ve seen on your cars with them and others you know who went through them. I’ll be moving back to Vegas next year and plan on hitting you up to find me a huracan and plan to finance it through them.

The banks and credit unions take chances because their business is loaning money when it is clear that a particular borrower should not get a particular vehicle. But then the automakers pressure the banking industry to loan so they can sell their overpriced vehicles. And lastly a lot of us wanted our piece of the American Dream, a house, how can we do it all?

A car is the second most likely investment that the American citizen is going to make aside from buying a house. That old saying rings true: “you can sleep in your car, but you can’t drag race a house”. There are too many people who are spending too much money to buy flashy luxury cars, and then either losing them to the repossession man or to maintenance and insurance premiums that they can’t afford. I’d love to go out and buy a top level luxury car, but I know that I have to be frugal with my money because in this current economic climate you have no idea which way things are going to go.

At $34.00 a month isn't that 1000 months to pay back with out interest. I think that's 83 years Bro. You've already been gifted your student loan forgiveness.. From the TAXPAYER'S..ME... who' borrowers $34 k For $34 a month. ????

@sterlinghinton6776 road construction, currently making $18.60 I haven't been able to get a better paying job, not for lack of effort, I also sold cars for years and average was about the same but with ups and downs

I'm 33 work 2 jobs 1 full time 1 weekends only. Making about 50 - 60k/year. I wouldn't say I'm doing amazing but let's just say I have a stupid addiction to cars & own 5 of them. No they're not expensive but they all run well & all maintenance has been proper. Gotta hustle 💯 you get all the sleep you need when your dead. Stay awake & enjoy life

😂 I just posted the same thing, I wouldn’t call us broke, but we are debt free and the prices are out of control. I think people have no freaking clue of their financial situation.

I can't take anything you have seriously after you try and talk people into leasing a supercar and putting down 100k for lease.

Blame the banks. They should not be approving loans to irresponsible people but it is what it is.

So there should be no personal responsibility???
@tenhundredkills20 күн бұрын
Since when is it the bank's responsibility? Individuals need to have their own responsibility for spending beyond their means.
@jetfuelg408320 күн бұрын
@@tenhundredkills people who have PROVEN THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF HAVING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY ARE STILL BEING APPROVED! They are TOO STUID TO LEARN OR UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THE BANKS ARE PROFITING OFF OF IT AND THE END RESULT IS INCREASED PRICES AND RATES FOR ALL PEOPLE INCLUDING THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CAPABLE OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THEMSELVES! IT IS PREDATORY AND IS AN INTENTIONAL MOVE BY THE INDUSTRY! Have a great day my fellow patriots 😘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
