With this market, do you believe that someone like myself with a 740 credit score, biggest loan I’ve had is my current 92k loan which I bought so that I can get my mclaren 600, my wife and my combined income is 260k .. Would that be good enough to get a 220k mclaren with 50-60k down payment?

@luckylopez777 why haven’t you addressed DEALERSHIP FRAUD??? The finance managers for many small independent dealerships are literal FRAUD FACTORIES. They have bogus businesss they have setup to use as “employers” for applicants that don’t have job time or a real job, dealerships make up pay stubs amd I won’t even go into other shit I’ve heard of like if a lm application doesn’t have a DL but only an ID card it would blow your mind

Dude...that is literally what happened during the pandemic and the economy collapsed. That's why all those payroll loans went out. The economy is built on credit because most jobs will keep you cash poor and the objective of the largest corporations is growth, not profit. If you did what was expected of you and went to college and had kids you basically screwed yourself. People are doing that and more people are hitting 40 with no kids and more people are taking longer to buy a house. More people are hopping jobs to get a higher wage etc. A lack of economic mobility induces these crimes. Same with scams out of India, Nigeria, and Russia. The banks can't afford everyone living within their means because every loan they have out would default. America is going to turn into the Philippines. All cam girl and uber eats driver economy where your children will basically exists to get slutted out to wealthy tourists.

Or people are broke and desperate and will do whatever it takes. You need a car to live in most of America. When your car fails and you have no cash and don't make enough to finance a replacement, what are you supposed to do to "live within your means"? No car means no job. Also, dealers are absolutely participants in this game. They can't sell cars without being able to finance them. Google it and you'll see that many dealers have been caught faking paystubs and other documentation to get banks to issue loans, many time without even telling the customers
@buffuniballer
@buffuniballer Жыл бұрын
@@justcommenting4981 it's always easier to blame someone else. If your job doesn't pay enough, maybe you shouldn't be out there trying to buy a $50k pickup truck. I think that was the point of the post. Instead of looking for the $10k used car, people choose to go into debt for 7 years for a $50k pickup. When it needs a costly repair, instead of fixing it, they trade. So, are they cash poor due to their wages, or due to the choice made to buy the truck and then double down on poor choices? Buy the $20k vehicle, pay it off AND save what you would pay for the $50k vehicle (I.E. save the difference between the payments for the two, not the whole $50k loan payment.) That way, if you do need a costly repair, you have the money saved. If not, you have a nice down payment, or can buy a $30k + vehicle cash next round. Lather, rinse, repeat. Most folks want gratification now. They are not willing to defer today and let their money grow so they can live large later.

In the US, freedom of choice is given (in most cases). The dealers are conducting business. Customers have the freedom to decline proposals that are not acceptable. I think that the biggest problem is that many people are too lazy to do their homework and research their future vehicles' value and quality. They buy pretty-looking garbage with a high price tag that promptly fails after the warranty expires. As a consumer, you have to watch out for false promises, poorly documented assertions, and commissions when dealing with car dealers. People will open the egg cartons to see if there's a broken or foul eggs inside. Then they buy a 30k vehicle from someone they thought was their 'friend'? That doesn't make sense.

Lucky Lopez preaches the truth! It's been happening but back in 2017 I worked at a franchise dealer in Southern California and watched this happen at the store I worked for. About, three months worth of Gypsy's showed up to buy cars 90% of them worked at the same company. They all put $2k as down payment and all made at least $4k per month (oh, they all did asphalt lol). The bank was approving most of them. For three months one of the sales guy was selling 30-40+ cars per month. After 6 months, shit hit the fan. The owner came down and people got fired. According to the owner the bank asked for the dealer to repo most loans and he had to pay bank the bank and was fined. I want to say the bank press charges on some individual working at the store.

On ANY sub-prime customer I ask for bank statements to back up paystubs. In today's digital age it is easier for a custmer to make a fake paystub. I had someone say CPNs aren’t illegal. I just told them, the US economy is based on fractional reserve banking, meaning that the banks literally loan money into existence that’s an asset on their books to generate revenue through payments or by selling the loans to other banks. So since the banks basically run the economy, PRAYTELL WHY wouldn’t they buy off the politicians to make the laws to benefit them?

Great insights in all of your videos! To understand the implication of fraud, some people simply need to understand what the word 'illegal' means and that it comes with 'consequences.' I have a request about Nevada laws, the implications of consumer bankruptcies to the consumers, and what they should look out for to keep their transportation before, during, and after filing for Chapter 7. I am certain consumers will ask themselves how to get to and from work sooner or later. Finance corporations and dealers should be interested in keeping consumers moving instead of returning their vehicles and not paying. Tons of folks out there won't be able to pay their credit cards and other bills with 'greedflation', and the growing cost eventually will catch up. And it will as it has in the past. Typically, everyone wants to stay in their vehicle rather than walk to work. The court could take a vehicle that is paid off but worth more than the legal exception. So where's the balance, and is there a win-win situation in a bankruptcy crisis? It would be great if you, down the road, could dedicate a segment to the subject and share your knowledge and experience.

The bank can eventually tell if something is funky with a dealer or customer pool. The repo return rate. If a dealerships deals all together goez over 6% bad deal rate. AUDIT TIME !!!!! The banks underwriting department will start dancing to the BLAME SOME ONE ELSE POKA.

Best not to take any car loan. Or at least pay in cash as much as you can and take a loan as small as possible.This is why Americans are always broke and must depend on banks which perpetuates their poverty and dependence on bank parasites

Some of these used car dealers; it seems like all they care about is the down payment. That's their profit. If they want $2k down; they got their money. Car gets repo'd and they just sell it again over and over.

Dealers are so into selling car loans instead of accepting cash. Turns out many buyers do fraudulent transactions. Dealers could have made some money accepting cash and no hassle fake transaction. Cash is still the best

Faking information/documents in order to secure a contract (such as a loan) is also a crime. It's called Fraudulent Inducement and if found (and prosecuted succesfully) negates the entire contract outright AND opens you up to an additional legal action. Faking with "paper" hasn't worked since like pre 2010, just don't. You might make it 6 months, tops.
