Kenny, you're the best, I'm serious. Each time I'm stuck thinking if Reaper can do this or that, turns out you have a video explaining it all. Thank you so much!

I've been using Reaper for five years and Kenny's still teaching me new stuff all the time. This is seriously a life-changing video for me. I've shied away from using one-shots because figuring out the pitch was such a pain. Never knew there was such an easy way. Kenny truly is a hero to the Reaper world.

I wish I'd known this a couple weeks ago. It would have saved me a lot of time. I recorded a toy piano that was grossly out of tune. First I used Voxengo Span to analyze each note and then used ReaSamplOmatic to adjust the tuning of each note and assign a MIDI key. I left most notes still slightly out of tune in order to maintain the toy quality, but made it much easier to play. ReaSamplOmatic has a really good pitch adjustment function.

All of that is very dope but one killer feature is missing from that sampler is the ability to switch sample on the fly while that still auto detect pitch.. with an simple left and right arrow for the sample in the same file. Imagine you a have a synth playing a melody in one shot and you can change it on the fly not caring about the pitch of the next sample because it will auto adjust.. man that would be a such game changer.. in Fl studio you can change on the fly but you need to have the same pitch and it's a pain..

Loved the way you used the build process to explain functions then showed the shortcut. It reminds me of really great math teachers.

I am glad I found this video however, when I changed the option where you can have the pitch be auto selected, it doesn't apply it automatically and I've tried to do it many times now as explained in this video. Could someone tell me if you are having the same issue with it not detecting the pitch? Thanks.

Hi Kenny, Great stuff. thanks again. On my installation, I had to ensure the media explorer had pitch detection enabled (tuning fork icons). Otherwise, it Reaper would not detect pitch when auditioning nor when inserted. I can see the highlighted icons in yours indicating it was enabled. cheers and thanks again

Wow, another faster workflow, are all these samples included in reaper? I have different samplers and synths, but this one works a lot faster, in my opinion.

Thank you very much for your videos.I always learn a lot with you. One issue: This morning I updated Reaper to 6.6.3. And I was able to get in just fine, but I shut down the computer and trying to load Reaper again doesn't work. It logs in with the template I have for startup, but when it's done loading, Reaper quits (without any kind of error message; it just quits). Does anyone have this problem? I'm on Windows 10. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
