ty! i'm working on adding a socket to the head of the enemy so the character knows where to punch towards. I'm going to try a similar method for the grabbing of the arms. I would love to have a trace for a nearby object to slam them into after grabbing them as well but need to learn a little more before that.

​@@treehousebanditOh, I'm trying something similar with the punch to the head, but with Control Rig. Are you using Control Rig to dynamically change the animation as well?

@eneasyou trying to unsuccessfully so far. Control rig seems to be working and ABP seems to get the right socket transform but the UEFN mesh is twisting a strange direction.
