Can the new and "improved" version by AA takedown the excellent, highly sought after Motorhelix creation?

Thanks for the comparison! I went with AA on this one due to its price. I also didn’t care much about the items that come with MH. Again, thank you and keep it up!

Very nice models, detail is everything. Working suspension is a must at this price. Exoto, CMC, . Almost Real , Kengfai some Minichamps. Just my opinion. Thanks for the review

Reality check man cmc and exoto don't do JDM. Also, Exoto is an OLD brand, do they even do cars now, also all their Ford stuff was unlicensed. Almost real lol they have only a handful of models. I don't think minichamps has jdm either and Ik their quality and detail is NOT to AA or motorhelix We're you saying the brands you listed should or do have working suspension? You should explain yourself better, we aren't mind readers.

Amazing comparison video brother!! 😊👍🏼 always wanted to find out the difference between the two good model makers. I agreed the MotorHelix does look a bit better in general.

AutoArt is the most recognizable name in high end models, not the best in quality but they’re the best in one thing, they made models for all fans American Muscle, European Exotics and JDM not to mention SUVs the Ford Raptor is coming soon, again they’re not the best but they have something for every collector

Autoart looks better and more realistic but Motor Helix feels better being heavy diecast rather than light composite

Thanks for the comparison and I reckon you did a great job here. I was wondering if Motorhelix and LCD are the same company/factory?

Same company? No. Same factory? Possible. Unlike what is usually the case where a the same factory may make the same products for two competing companies with only the difference being the branding, Chinese factories will make products for various companies, based on that companies specifications and tooling. So even if you have a model from two different companies made from the same factory, the differences in the two can be vastly different. Motorhelix claims on their website that they do make their products in-house.

You do realize that these cars are made by the exact same manufacturer in China. Branding is just that licensing and tooling are acquired and the cars are produced for the brand that contracts their manufacture. The cars seem identical because they are, with slight variations between production runs. True real collector’s love detail and the high end brands deliver, just flip them over and check the locations of the markings. The same for many of my high end resin Caddy’s, the only differences is who’s name gets printed on the box.

AutoArt's body shell is composed of ABS, the Motorhelix is zinc diecast metal and for some, a plastic body shell is a "hard pass" on the AutoArt. The point in the comparison is to point out the differences. Not sure if you watched the entire video, but there are differences that did warrant the review and would assist in a purchase decision. I personally prefer the the Motorhelix due to the better paint quality and better choice in materials, such as the the foot pedals and engine detail. There are a few factories in China that manufacture "diecast" car models and yes some tooling is shared but not in all cases. For reference, please see the comparison of the 2022-2023 Porsche 911 GT3 form Norev and Minichamps. Same car, big differences. Thank you for the feedback!

@@diecastden Materials and paint are part of original contracting, after licensing acquisition. Manufacturing is still done in China ( nothing against China) I’m not a China hater. Very little isn’t made in China these days, including real automobiles. As for the US and the UK (Europe & Germany) most manufacturing is done in China was my point. As I mentioned, all of my high end 1/18 cars regardless of the brand are assembled identically, with all different brands, I was told by an authorized dealer that they put whatever brand pays for the manufacturing.

@@FLOYD-MAYWEATHER-TBE Take the information for what it’s worth, the details and quality are determined by what the person contracting the construction pay 💰 if it says made in China, you can bet it’s coming from the same place. It takes a lot to produce these cars not to mention the licensing. After a particular run the tooling isn’t just tossed out, other brand names purchase the rights and the tooling and also the reason there’s variations between the different so-called brands. It boils down to who’s paying for what. Much like real cars that carry familiar brands like Chevy and Ford, yet Detroit has been a ghost town for decades, still plenty of Fords and Chevy’s for sale, with all manufacturing done anywhere but here. Even the stuff that claims to be US made, is at best assembled here with their components coming from China, Mexico, Canada and anywhere else the labor is cheaper. If those diecast cars were produced in the country’s the brands are listed, all would be at “ Autoart “ prices. It sucks but do your research, its called capitalism.
