@@dwebster27 I did that on and off till I was 30. Sucky job. That Escape wasn't nearly as bad as some of the crap I detailed. Looks like a flood car to me.

The Silverado is a real beauty. I have a 2002 S10 with the same engine with 79K miles. Never have a problem with it. The Escape looks good on the outside. I think you should get the Silverado and keep it as a spare.

On that escape, you HAVE to replace all 4 tires or else you’ll burn up the viscous clutch in the rear differential and it’s a $900 repair at Ford. Edit: that Silverado RCLB is essentially a blank canvas; imagine if it was like my dad’s 2009 RCSB with the 4.8 it would be the perfect truck.

There's so much room for activities!!! Randy you are definitely the songbird of my generation. Jokes aside I do like that open area in the front, really nice view of all the belts. Maybe it had an open window or two during the accident and that debris flew in through said open window(s)? if the accident sent it offroad it may also explain the suspension damage as well but that's probably a bad guess.

Randy: cheap truck. I think it is a good buy. On our fleet we have put on over 300,000 miles on 4.3 L and 6.0 L Without any trouble. I was surprised at the great drive abilities and fuel economy of the 4.3 L. 6.0 L what a performance motor. But it loves the gas stations. Cheers

I love that red Silverado. Man, that 4.3L sure looks a lot smaller in that truck than it did in my 1995 S-10 because the engine bay is so much bigger. I love the old 4.3s, I put 160,000 on mine before I traded it in and it still ran great. The 4.3L sound really good, especially for a V6 with a 1->2 Flowmaster muffler on it, too.

You could start an interesting YT channel on HOW some of these cars ended up in the condition they are in; that is at least as interesting as what you end up doing with the cars you buy. Re the 4.3 litre V6, the first thing I noticed was that there is actually SOME SPACE inside the engine bay to work on the engine; these days that is a real plus.

You need to buy the Audi A7. It could be fixed for probably around $2,000 including the console if you did the work yourself. Santa’s Workshop could probably help with that. It’d be good content for the channel also. Then do a good detail and send it back through the auction and make some money. Those are selling for around $36,000 retail . Of course that’s for a non-salvage title, but even with a salvage title it’d sell for at least $20,000. The Chevrolet truck is a no brainer also. Do a little cosmetic work and resell it for some decent money.

Agree when you opened the hood on the Silverado I said "hey where is the rest of the motor", LOL. The way you are setup currently Randy zero chance of making money even on the Chevy pickup unless you hit a homerun. What about making some sort of a deal with Lucky Wheelz and Deals? I mean if there is money in it, Lucky seems like he would be interested? Also you sort of know what didn't work last time with a reseller maybe you can avoid those issues? Shame your channel deserves to make a few bucks at least after buying and fixing etc.

Trucks are expensive and that's a great truck for a carpenter who just needs an A to B haul stuff in the bed etc etc. It's gotta be worth 4-5k minimum. However, I'm in Coastal California so maybe I'm a bit unrealistic on values in other areas. You can't touch a truck here for 5k unless it's beat to death. Buy it asap.
