Took my nephew for his 8th birthday. We had an absolute blast

Wow I didn't even know this place existed and the carts look fast too. Its only about 15 miles away from my home. This looks like a great way to get your racing fix without breaking the law. I gotta try it!

Yep, cool place. They have two tracks at that particular location, and this was my favorite of the two.

The steering wheel was upside down. The flat part of the wheel is supposed to be on the bottom (helps give you leverage on the wheel on hard cornering). That bothered me all race. Still, pretty good run. I love the Monaco track as well

Spencer Crawley Jr Hehe... I always hear it referred to as "the upside-down steering wheel" and I have no idea why they design them like that. And you're right, they suck, and they only get used at karting facilities because they're cheap to buy.

[2024 Updates] I just went to this location at Jessup, MD today on 2/4/2024. Price wise it's now $100 for 5 races not 8. I think 10 races is $175 which is $17.5 per race vs the $12.5 per race back in 2017. Definitely some inflation setting in right now in 2024. Each race is 12 laps regardless of the total time. Lastest lap for this month on Monaco, which is the one on this video, is 19.939 and the fastest for LeMon is 16.921. You get a free race on your Birthday week so if you use that then the price per race for each package comes down a little bit. Other than that, not much has changed except for maybe the track layout as they turned the double corners into a hairpin for Monaco after the straight. Some karts are faster than others and some brake better than others leading to a decent variation in lap times.

do the karts have the same power throughout the race? my last few times at electric tracks, the karts start losing power halfway through, which greatly reduces your chance to climb up the lap time leader board.
@fortressofsoliddudes45977 жыл бұрын
The only times I've experienced an electric kart start to lose power were because the batteries didn't have a sufficient charge or they needed to be replaced. They should always be able to make a full race length but I'd say most electric tracks I've visited actually run shorter races than gas kart tracks do. Halfway through a race is way too early for an electric kart to start crapping out.

i might hit one of the autobahn locations in the next few days. i'll have a video of the pittsburgh international race complex up soon. probably one of my top 3 tracks, it was a really fun layout.

Trust me they have the same power
@MonkBranch10 ай бұрын
First laps before Green flag is power limited. If a group of people crashed they get power limited. Other than that, they are all the same at max power but each Kart varies from another so you won't even get the same feeling going from Kart to Kart.

just finished up at this location. did 3 races, monaco was definitely more fun, i should have done all my laps on that track. almost caught you, got a 22.5 in my first race, even with the traffic. second race didn't get too many clean laps.
