Great job, sounds great Shortee, hopefully I can get there sometime soon. Im right handed, so I scratch with my right hand, & fade with my left hand. So im trying to apply this to the opposite side, & opposite fader movements...

Respect Short-e. Really well explained. It's good to see you've still got the passion as you've been around a good few years now. No offence intended :) Good luck with the scratch school and don't ever lose that passion!

Thank you! No offense taken - it's true! Gotta pass on all the scratch wisdom I can! Appreciate the encouragement and support!

This is really helpful...Especially as you scratch the same way I do - right hand fader, hamster.

Are their videos for non hamster fader movements, like when im cutting from the other side of the crossfader, thanx Shortee, your always appreciated.... I basically understand the fundamentals about this scratch, but, & I think I get it completely, but, I was wondering about if theirs videos with the regular scratch fader movements, rather then Hamster mode?

why demonstrating basics in reverse crossfader(hamster) while almost nobody using hamster technique anymore? I think this is very confusing to pick up for students.
@studioscratches5 жыл бұрын
Only because that is how I scratch and I cannot scratch well regular. Like being left handed I guess. I wrote this to help my students. I have many regular students who have no worries learning with me: www.studioscratches.com/how-to-learn-from-a-hamster-reverse-crossfader-style-scratch-dj-if-you-scratch-regular/

Im sure you get this allot, but why does your controller cut the noise towards the track? rather than away from it

After years of doing these I've realised the Autobahn is just walking reverse OG flares in my opinion.

See, I've just realised the same, only I've not been doing autobahn's for years, just walking reverse flares... Sometimes this stuff makes my brain hurt a little.
