It is not fair to report that 0 to 100 time when you admittedly say it is not professionally measured. You should at least publish in this video how you record the time. Then try the other rival such as the 3 series n c class and see if you can get their claimed time (i bet you wont coz i tried on mine and its not even close)

i've managed to achieve about 2.5L/100km average for the last 4000+km with at least one full charge daily. For someone who has convenient access to charging at home, achieving something close to the rated fuel consumption by Volvo is possible. I believe Volvo is targeting these customers as well, and definitely very helpful when there are huge incentives for CKD PHEVs in Malaysia. What you've claimed is valid as well, and likely applicable to those who don't have frequent access to charging. Ie, those who will likely use it as a 'normal' hybrid car.
@engineer4life4 жыл бұрын
My C350e AMG Line average fuel consumption is about 10 litres for 100km. Probably the best result obtained was 8.7 litres for 100km when travelling from KL to Penang. In another word is it didn’t save me fuel (practically) instead it has given me performance as a high speed cruiser on the highway, the 600Nm torque is indeed making the car rather swift compares to most of the cars especially on highways. More interestingly is my daily driven car is in fact the Toyota GT86. Obviously I enjoyed better with the driving dynamics of the GT86 and the car too consumes as much fuel as the C350e

The car has definitely one of the best speakers in the market, so mesmerizing. But as far as the looks go, it looks a bit old (this is quite subjective). But buying a Volvo isn't really prioritizing the looks of the exterior and the interior, it's the safety features that makes VOLVO.

Reviewer is missing the point of this car : it's the driveability in town and the insane performance on highway. This car will crush a 330i and still be cheaper and more fuel economical.
@peterambrose21484 жыл бұрын
As much as i like the car, Volvo Malaysia should really not lie with the 0 to 100 times In overseas market, the S60 polestar model is not even that fast but under 5 sec Other videos claims it to be 5.1 sec to 5.3 sec Also try do it in power mode where it throws everything in And there are some volvo owners who managed to get over 2000km on a single fuel tank cause they charge the car everyday Hence the 2.1l/100km

i got the same feel. i test drove 330i and this in one day. i felt the interior was dull compared to 330i especially the normal plastic black gear knob instead of the crystal knob.

at the 2min 34s mark, where i can see the speedo, i've noticed the car is in 'charging state' when in dynamic/sport mode. ie the car will be using part of its engine power to charge the battery. not too sure how it will impact the overall performance of the car. (maybe you could try again in dynamic/sport mode with the charging state turned off)

I think that this is the most honest review of s60 in Malaysia. I was considering between volvos (s60/s90) and BMW (330i/530i) before this and tested everything multiple times, ended up with 330i cos the s60 really doesn't cut it. It's much less refined than bimmer in almost every way if you take away its fancy features. Also it's heavy for no good reason, mind that heavier doesn't imply more safety, weight comes with a lot of negative impact including safety (braking distance/fade etc). Volvo also tends to overrate their numbers whereas BMW underrate theirs, i used to think merc overrate their shit until I saw the madness of Volvo, honestly this is a major turnoff. I also can't stand Volvo's physical lock sound, I've never heard a worst sounding lock in a luxury car before tbh, my god it sounded like a very cheap car if I'm blindfolded.

330i > S60 in terms of design, handling, build quality, infotainment system and exhaust sound. because the engine is turbocharged and supercharged, it sounds horrendous in the S60. the 330i's 4 cylinder however has pops and bangs in stock form (no mods whatsoever.) and volvo lied about the acceleration times too then. what a difference, 4.4 seconds vs 5 seconds. so it's not that much faster than the 330i and C300. just 0.8 seconds.
@syc923 жыл бұрын
330i can actually do 5.5sec and Volvo will probably do 5.1sec on a good day, so it's even less difference than you imagined

😑this little kid doesn't know how to appreciate what Volvo is giving. 1. You can set the climate by using voice comment 2. All PHEV take out space of the car, some they put the battery on the boot. like Merce and BMW. Volvo is putting the battery in the center due to its more safety. 3. Even for a petrol car, when your leg doesn't listen to ur brain. of course, fuel consumption is high. 4. 0-100, you're not fully charged your car how will you get 4.4. 🤥 5. Interior- Volvo is using REAL leather, not like the C class. 6. Safety Features- Volvo gives you the full out of it. Compare to BBA, you don't even get full safety features in the 330e and C350e. ACC and AutoPilot are standard in every new Volvo in Malaysia (not on the high spec Mers & BMW).

Muhammad Imran Naim Bin Mohd Annuar It doesn’t make sense to me, because there are plenty of wealthy people who care about making a difference. Billions have been invested into environmental conservation and renewable energy by the wealthy as well.

Pan EJ Specifically...it’s not a rebadged from a Geely model or some sort...What I meant was Volvo ain’t no longer a fully Swedish automaker...I mean building so called “Swedish” cars using Geely’s money is just a clever marketing by Volvo claiming that it’s a posh Swedish car just to get cars off their lot. Yes, The designs are still from Volvo but knowing that Volvo now is under ownership of Geely...It doesn’t make it a true Swedish carmaker anymore...Btw Luv ur reviews keep it up bro✌️

Malaysia doesn't have the review of the latest 2023 S60. I just got the latest Volvo S60 2023. It is a fantastic car. The Sweedish minimalist design gives a luxurious, elegant feel. Unlike BMW which looks very "normal". The car is powerful not to mentioned the impressive safety features. The drive is smooth and very comfortable. The car feels very solid. I had a BMW X3 2019 model, drive was ok. But for that price, any car should drive adequately well. But BMW features is really underwhelming and not fitting for the high price it is selling. It lacks a lot features that even a Myvi has. Totally love my Volvo ever since I got it. Regarding the spare tyre, did you ever comment about BMW? BMW has no spare tyre. Are your comfortable about BMW not having a spare tyre? Overall your review is a bit bias and your nit pick a lot.
