The Jaecoo J7 does look like a Range Rover, but can it perform like a Range Rover? We put both cars head to head through 5 “gruelling challenges”. All done in our usual offroad playground, the M4TREC. We invited our friends Leona Chin, Tincy Tan and Allyna Wong to be our judges. So which one is the better “Range Rover”? the latest Velar (facelift) has lost the 2nd screen, all basic functions control has integrated into the main screen, including climate control, leaving a blank panel on where the 2nd screen was used to be.

Yea Jaecoo is a sub brand of Chery. There’s also Omoda and Exeed. We’re just returning from China for the Beijing motor show and saw a few Exeed models, stunning

That's an evoque, a baby range. But I'm quite amazed how people are easily mesmerized by gimmicks, explains why Chery sells so many cars despite axles and brakes that self dismantle. Edit: anyway range rovers are lucky to be driven more than 100 days in a year, the rest of the time sitting in workshop
