No way they can launch 500km range under 20 lakhs. Starting price for regular range might be 20 lakhs with long range version costing upwards of 25 lakhs

At 4.3 metres, wouldnt it go up against the Tata Currv EV than Nexon?

People doubting 50KW under 20 lacs should know that the car will be released by 2025. We will have next gen nexon next year expected with bigger batteries. It won't be game changer but seeing the Suzuki track record, it would be most cost effective in the segment.

Many people are waiting for the LCGC version of Suzuki EV. They need practicality and simplicity not a touch feature that drains the focus of the eyes while having to drive, such AC knob, handbrake, etc, so it can make the price very cheap and so efficiently on battery

5 Star safety and well pricing against Nexon will be a game changer. If safety is less than 5, then it will be not interesting even if priced less than Nexon.

If same came, it will be priced around 40-50L, so definitely production model totally different

Now it has to compete with Curvv EV and not Nexon. With 55kwh battery Tata already priced it around 22 lakhs (long range mid model).

Hope they don't end up making an S-Presso EV for 15 lakhs and try to sell it from Nexa. 😅 MSIL has been quite consistent in making a joke out of an exceptionally appealing concept car.

will be nice if ev also comes with back up generator under hood for mile anxiety ppl like me. not gonna use the generator for every day but only for "back up" like some cars in china does.

TATA & Mahindra - has the edge in EV space. By the time eVX comes to market it'll be too late given Tata/M&M models already in production.

Suzuki got into this game too late - eVX is unlikely to make much of an impact, unless they can create solid-state batteries or some other game-changing tech. Design etc is all just hype - by the way, the more the power, the worse will be the efficiency.

Curious to know why people still keep calling Suzuki cars Maruti. I know Maruti was a govt of India set up. But Suzuki having controlling stake and running all things from design to manufacturing, what is it that Maruti actually does operationally?

Design not in sync with reality. Cost of 18 lakhs is too much. It should be effectively priced at 14 on road to take on the Tata Nexon

Frankly, 500km+ is still on MIDC ARAI tested range. The Nexon EV is still 465km on ARAI so real range would be closer than people imagine £30K is MG ZS category not Nexon EV
