Difference in being better bike but costing 2 lakh more can not be overlooked. Difference is not that much. Triumph has nailed it in this segment with this pricing. Difference is just at the extreme levels which commonly we dont experience too many times
@rbattson71712 жыл бұрын
I saw lots of reviews re: the trident and the cb650r, mostly vids from UK and USA. They mentioned the usable performance of these bikes and suggested the trident had what you needed where it mattered, ie lower down the rev range. I ended up with the trident, no regrets! It shoots up to 80 in no time at all, which is 10 mph above our national speed limit. And 80 mph on a naked bike is enough for me, so the Honda's higher revs are not required. It's also lighter and feels very flickable. But good concise review, it comes down to personal choice, they are both excellent bikes.

It's a nice review but I can't agree with the fact that the Honda is a better bike. The Triumph is lighter, more refined, has a better display, has better tires. Add the quick-shifter and the gear shifting is on another level (it will still cost much less than the Honda). Yes, the Honda will give you the big bike feel, but that shouldn't be a factor to buy a bike. And if those things are a factor then a first-time big bike buyer would like to be associated with a brand like Triumph rather than a Honda (even though the CB650R might feel slightly more premium than the Trident 660).

Rather get a hypermotard 950 paying 2L more( not an issue for folks who purchase 10L worth motorcycle) than that Honda. The Ducati is one depraved machine! A closer comparison for the Trident will be the Ducati scrambler. Not that Honda. The triumph targets a specific market that has aesthetic as a core requirement.
@brendonfernandes28773 жыл бұрын
These are meant for more beginner riders. Those upgrading from 250-300cc machines. A Hypermotard as the name suggests has scary levels of power and can kill you easily if you make a mistake. These two bikes have very relaxed power delivery which means they are a lot more forgiving regarding mistakes. And its not 2 l more. The old Hypermotard is expected around the 12-13l range. So on road it will be close to 16 lakhs which is about twice the price of the Trident. If you are a skilled rider and are upgrading from a 650cc class bike best to spend another 2l more over the Hypermotard and just get a proper track bike like the ZX10r .
