After finishing autoclave process the bin lid and side pores should be kept open for just 5 minutes for escape of residual steam. Otherwise the materials kept inside the bin becomes wet.

You are supposed to vent out any remaining air before putting the weights on. Without venting, static pressure will be less than 15psi due to air pockets not heating up like water, even though the gauge would display 15psi. Feel free to check online

Sir what could be the reason why water is getting inside the sterilization drum? As a result the instruments wrapped in green cloth gets wet leading to corrosion.

The steam (water vapour) when cools down becomes water. That's why the water is inside the drum. Regarding corrosion, every instrument gets some degree of corrosion when they are used, cleaned and sterilized. Also the amount of water inside the drum is not that significant to cause corrosion. It will not go to red zone, unless until there is any blockage in safety valve.
