Test Engine Temperature Sensor WITHOUT DISASSEMBLY

In this video I show you how to test the engine temperature sensor WITHOUT THE NEED TO DISMOUNT IT.
The motor temperature sensor is an NTC thermistor, that is, it is a resistance with a negative temperature coefficient, in other words: its resistance decreases when its temperature increases and vice versa.
Taking advantage of the previous property of the temperature sensor, we are going to apply temperature and we must notice that the resistance decreases.
A temperature sensor with an open or shorted resistance is damaged and must be replaced.
