Thank u for the predictive stroke trick for smoothing. I have a problem with smoothing in sketching app and I still find Adobe Illustratrator is the best software so far but it takes forever. Do you know a similar sketching app that is good for smoothing also just to draw a perfect circle or square or ellipse?? thanks

Your welcome. There is a shape tool in autodesk app. Procreate also has a quick shape tool for circle squares and ellipses. The brush settings in Procreate also have a smoothing setting now as well as their streamline setting. I think the predictive stroke in autodesk is still my fav

Thanks for another awesome, well explained tutorial Jane! That's very cool how AutoDesk Sketchbook implements that. So how do you like it compared to Procreate with the new symmetry tool there? Do you use them each for different things, or do you prefer one over the other?

Thanks Donna. I use both Procreate and Autodesk for different things. Often I will transfer the file as a PSD inbetween them so I can keep all my layers intact. Autodesk has the ability to do symmetry up to 16 divisions, which I really like. It also does odd numbers like 5, 7 or 15 which I enjoy working with. I also enjoy using the predictive stroke. I do love Procreate's brushes, the selection as well as the control over the settings. Procreate also does "selecting" items a little easier. Basically they both have alot to offer and it is about finding the workflow that works for you. Again, I will move back and forth with a file in PSD form to get the benefits of both of them. When you "share" your PSD you can choose to open it in another app, this is how I do it. So glad you enjoyed the tutorial, I am working on doing more of these with the different apps.

Do you know how to save as a transparent png?

The bottom layer in the layers panel is the background. Set the little eye symbol to "off" by touching it, the background should disappear and become transparent. Then you can "share" and save image as normal. It will save with a transparent background.

The bilateral symmetry doesn't rotate And rotation of the radial symmetry after setting it to two, gives you inverse symmetry rather than bilateral HELP
