QUICK TIP: Auxiliary Views in 2D Drawings

Is there a way to edit the auxiliary drawings? The ideas wold be to only show a subsection of the part in an aux view, and not all the same features visible in the other views.

Yes, you can edit the Aux view just like you would any other view. Add/remove components from it, change shading, etc

That is not an Auxiliary View. It's just a pictorial view at a different angle. Auxiliary Views are 2D views projected to show an inclined face.

I was wondering about auxiliary views for a while. A real auxiliary view is a true projection of a non-orthographic plane. Inventor and Solidworks do this just fine. So as a work around it's OK but I'd do a better job of aligning the new named view to look like a real projection. Your drafting instructor just shuttered and told you to get back to basics.
