Been having the problem with rpm counter for a long time. Nothing helped, it always went to 8000 or 6000 and stayed there. After watching your video i dismantled the board and resoldered the contacts. One was really poorly soldered,don't know why. This fixed the issue, 15 days now, my counter works like new! Thanks for the video man, and thanks for the idea!!!

Thank you for the video, my daughters new (to her) car had a speedo that was registering all manner of erronous speeds but a resolder of the joints fixed it up. Perfect!

I also calibrated the faulty km and rpm hands by doing a needle calibration test with MDI, by doing the same as you in the test mode. I went to a distance of 450 km outside the city, and 20 km after I set off, when I stopped at the traffic light, the speedometer needle was stopped. I noticed that it stopped at 10 km. When I reached my destination, this time when I stopped, I noticed that the rev needle was showing more than normal. When I turned off the ignition, both needles were not at the zero point, but slightly above. After returning home, I checked it after resetting the needles by manually adjusting it manually, not with the device, by removing and plugging the rear socket of the indicator. and there is no problem now. I think that the extra settings made to the indicator later do not give healthy results.

Why do you have to re calibrate it after the strip down as I don't have the program you have on the ob 2 reader
