I’m an electrician by trade and after all this I would just cut the cord down and do a solder joint in a section of cord and cover with a cold or heat shrink.

I've been thinking of ripping out the plug from the actual pressure unit itself, and installing an IEC socket so I can disconnect the power cord. Seems much easier that way. I'm guessing it isn't like that from the factory because you don't want water getting in there.

yeah even for the shelf mounted installs its a must to shorten the cords on these for a cleaner install. I just could not stand the extra length which I did not ever need, removing 5 feet makes it more manageable to coil

Shouldn't the bridge (which is a pulling relief retainer) be pressed over the outer black insulation, not just the trio of wires?

It should be always be over outer insulation. It's dangerous otherwise.

the way plugs are made at the factory they are heated up and put into a press to crimp the outer jacket so the bridge can fit without any real tension, the bridge is thin plastic not metal. That is not possible to do by hand safely, if you force the bridge to crush the jacket it will crack the entire case, i have had this happen before so what I do is i slice some of the jacket and remove the fiberglass filler core for more space and push a small section up under the bridge to protect the wires, works fine, safe and will never crack the case FYI. Also you are not suppose to ever pull on these plugs no idea why anyone would even attempt to because the wire will crack outside the plug over time and short out easily as the jacket is so stiff it would become brittle.

@@autofanaticcars Euro cable have two spade and ring connector in machine end. And some models have screw terminal inside connection box. It would be much easier to reconnect, just crimp new spades. And pg passthrough in not a problem. Is us kränzle how much different from euro models?

Is there any major differences between the kransle K1122TST and the k1322ts?

1122tst: 1400 psi and 2.0gpm 1322tst: 1300 psi at 2.1gpm both are the same exact pump, just work at different outputs.

What annoys me about the kranzle is that its rated at 15amp yet matt says to have a 20 amp socket for the foam cannon, my outside outlet is 15 amps and I am not gonna sit here and pay someone to put a 20 amp outlet when this unit rates at 15 makes no sense, is it 15 amps or 20 amps?

my outlet is 15amps no issues at all, my 1122 i had years ago would pop the breaker all the time but i think that machine was defective i got it off Ebay so who knows. I do not think youll have an issue with your 15amp unless your circuit is tied into your laundry room or kitchen appliances

Matt says 20A because of the 1.25mm orifice used on the MTM PF22 Foam Canon which puts some stress on the pressure washer.

Hello AutoFanatic AKA Mad Scientist. Are you still using the Kranzle. I remember in a separate video you mentioned you were experimenting with a different pressure washer system. One that may be better than the Kranzle.
