DIY: How to shorten the power cord on a Ryobi Pressure Washer

This video is long overdue. Straight and to the point. The pressure washer comes with a 25' power cord. For my application, the PW does not move, so having the extra cord is not necessary.

You made my day. I've been wanting to do this for my Craftsman pressure washer. I get why the cord is long, but I'd rather use an extension cord for the distance than have all of this bunched up cable to keep with the unit. Thank you. I have a Craftsman 1700psi pressure washer. The cord is unbearably long. It's easier to connect an orange extension cord to the unit when in use.
