Thanks for your amazing video as usual. This is a very impressive dashcam I was abit disappointed it wasn't equipped with motion detection in parking mode, so to have the advance parking mode (will record 10secs before collision and 30secs after, then lock the 40secs video). I am really getting so excited what the dashcam industry is becoming. We the consumers will benefit a lot from this healthy competition. Have even seen many cars now already coming with built in dashcam (eg Infinity QX80) Another new release from Vantrue is also very interesting (Vantrue E360) I am loving there competition 😀

Hey i like your videos, they're pretty well made and informative. But the one thing I would like to see more details on, is the parking mode. I'm really trying to narrow down my choice for the camera with the best video and parking mode. I think you shoud test how long it takes for these cameras to turn on when they detect an impact... some take up to 15 seconds, which is entirely too long. please consider testing the parking modes in more detail if you can please.

Ah yes, that actually used to be part of the tests I would show on my old reviews but ended up discounting that since viewers didn't found much value on it (even thought I understand what you are looking for). The second reason that test was discontinued is the release of dash cams with buffered park mode, which is what you want if you need to capture what led to the incident that triggered the dash cam not just what happen after the dash cam was triggered. Very good video - I'd have to go over the ending regarding keeping the back camera 4K even when it transfers to the front camera?

@@studentoftheword6115 Thank you, ah the transfer function is only needed if you want to copy the files from the internal memory to an external SD card, so you don't have to use this option, it's optional (the dash cam will record in dual 4K regardless) Cheers!

I treated myself to the F77 during the flood of Black Friday offers after discovering a few other videos about it online. These alone got me really excited about buying the camera. I've now also discovered your video and after the super informative content I can hardly wait for it to arrive... Apparently there is (still) no CPL filter for the dashcam against reflections from the windshield (and possibly the rear window). Have you heard anything about whether a filter should be included in the accessories? Thanks for your great work. I love your channel - please keep up the good work 🫶🏼 Regards and all the best 👋🏼

It looks awesome. The video quality on both sides is great, and I am a fan of the design kind of. I do prefer how the Viofo cameras hug the contour of the glass, but the flat back and angled front is a nice aesthetic. Also I was expecting a higher price, so I think its current price point (Bfriday sale but who knows if it will just always be on sale) is acceptable. It doesn't look like a polarizer option is offered so it may need to be modded in... getting rid of the dash reflection goes a long way. My only issues really is the use of internal memory. This starts a time limit before the camera self destructs and its memory becomes no longer usable. So if you are a heavy user, expect toonly get a couple years before you need to buy another. Now is this a SD card speed problem? I don't buy it. These cameras often max out each stream at 50Mbits/sec, 6.25Mbytes per second. High endurance cards generally have no problem writing 20Mbytes/sec, and micro SD cards rated A2 can achieve over 40Mbytes.

Hi M! Ah I'm looking more into the bottlenecks of dual 4K, I think just from what I saw when I was in the industry, where nothing was added unless absolutely necessary (to cut cost) re-affirmed my understanding of the bandwidth limit. Adding internal eMMC, a memory card slot and modifying the App to support copying from eMMc to SD card seems like a lot of extra cost that could have been avoided if they could just write directly to the SD Card. But yeah definitely an interesting topic and I could be wrong and maybe there was another reason for eMMC. I actually had a video in the works explaining why we had not seen dual 4K so I'm updating with this new development and I will look more into the bandwidth limits, stay tuned. Cheers!

Due to this camera being mounted inside I can't get an angle that doesn't have the rear defrost lines in view. Any way to get around this?

Hi A! Ah yes, I place the rear camera in a section where there are no defrost lines and if the vehicle does not have a space without defrost lines, then I place the camera right in the middle of the defrost lines so it minimizes obstructions as the lens in the in the middle of them so it has glass in front of it instead of a defroster line. This placement of avoiding defrost lines or placing the camera in between them also preserves the defrost line since applying adhesive directly to the defrost lines can potentially damage them. The choices would be Impact Detection, Motion Detection, Time Lapse, Proximity Detection, Buffered Park Mode or Cloud Park Mode (live notifications to your phone), let me know which you need and I will try to point you in the right direction, Cheers!

Instead of hardwire, use a power bank to power the camera for parking recording. Plug the power bank to cigarette or usb charging port!!!

Hi! Ah some people do run their dash cam off a battery pack (this batteries are usually large in size). I personally don't due to the high temperatures the interior of a vehicle can experience (which I prefer not to subject the battery to) and due to the potential for a run away event (fire) during charging or discharging inside the car. Let's be honest...The video quality is acceptable at best. My old iPhone 13 has superior video quality compared to this dash cam.

@MC-mh2ju LOL! Yeah cell phones will always be light years away from dash cams. I think if at some point ppl will be willing to pay cell phone prices for dash cams, we will see them come closer in terms of performance, Cheers!
