The V6 Diesel actually sound nice when it gets some revs. Of course it isn't as revvy as the petrols from the old Aston Lola and the new Toyota TS030 but is still has its charm.

I actually like the sound of this car. Mainly because I take time to appreciate the low sound of engines and lower RPM's just sound better for me. Although I do love the sound of the Cizeta V16t also, monstrously great.

Yes it seems you have it right. Racing isn't about numbers. Well it is, but for the sponsors, and the engineers, and the team managers and presidents and the like. But for the racers, the viewers, the ones that can't perceive a tenth per lap of performance gains... to us it's all about the feeling. The sound, the smell, the noise, the speed, the looks. I would give anything, and I mean anything, to own a car that sounded like a matra, I'd even give a ball. There's someting humbling about it.

There is, the steering wheel. They don't use this kind of angle in the official race broadcasts - I hate when the onboard cam is placed just behind the windscreen.

Interesting that they let a journo drive it, even if he is an experienced test driver. Just imagine if he had binned it in the wall (ok, he is not going 100% but there are some opposite lock moments). Even if this particular chassis wasn't supposed to race that year anymore, at least it could be used as a spare one.

La sonorité est absolument horrible ! Ces LMP1 ont clairement des châssis et perfs hors du commun, mais c'est insupportable ! Vivement le retour de Toyota et Porsche avec de vraies voitures, et merci Pescarolo de nous éviter la monoculture du poêle à fuel !

listen buddy i respect the technology.have no problems w diesel whatsoever... for the road is perfect...u listen this, i would v8,v10,v12 gasoline.everybody agreed who saw these diesel LMPs ..they sound sooo bad,wrong,terrible,unracecarlike!! hope that will be no disel F1 CAR!!!They already fuckin messed it up when they banned v10s.So i keep respect diesel but i hope never have to listen to it
