Hi, thanks. Help me out here. If I change the VIN on DME but VIN on CAS is different will it affect the car in any way?

Maybe will have tamper codes or indication on dash and will not pass emmisions test, also abs dsc codes and warnings on dash, car should start as long as ISN match though.. Thanks
