Now this is a car review worth watching. Totally unbiased. Other reviewers put too much emphasis on the bells and whistles or lack thereof but does not include the much more important long-term ownership i.e durability, build quality and reliability. You’ve nailed it @Autoindustriya. More of these kinds of reviews. You should keep this format.

This review is far more enjoyable than the other youtube channels. If you review something, you are also expect to criticize it which is a common trend here in AutoIndustriya reviews. Comparing it also to other vehicle brands with the same price range is the best. Good job!!! I am wondering why Toyota Philippines don't sell vehicles like on the other countries. To cite an example is the Toyota Rav4, the top spec here in the Philippines is almost the same price as the Rav4 Prime sold in the US. The Rav4 Prime is already a hybrid and has so many features that we could only dream about here in the Philippines. Why Toyota PH sells pricey vehicles here but far less in amenities and luxury ???

@@mushimushimushi9176 Rav4 (PH Top Variant) = PHP 2,289,000.00 Rav4 Prime (US Top Variant) = USD 41,425 = PHP 2,098,528.36 The argument is Toyota PH cars are expensive compared to it counterparts from other countries. What they sell here are just mid variants but the cost is at par with the top spec (which has far more tech and performance improvements. I'm not saying you import the car because it would atleast incur 50% importation taxes and duties.
@kirstiebeau48622 жыл бұрын
Dont quote me on this but as far as I know, the RAV4s sold in the US is locally-made there whereas the RAV4s we got here were made in Japan. Now cars made in Japan doesn’t enjoy the tax incentives of cars made in Thailand like the Fortuner and Hilux, hence if TMP would get the RAV4 Prime here, it will be very expensive. Plus, the premium TMP can impose on us because Filipinos were willing to pay for the Toyota branding. They can bring the fully-loaded RAV4 here but the reality is the RAV4 is not as popular here as in the US. It wouldnt make sense from a marketing perspective

We have this, But I wish it has at least cruise Control, lane departure warning, automatic Tail Gate, (maybe) Toyota Sense. This can really compete with its big brother Fortuner however, Innova's lack of other features make u buy Fortuner instead.

3rd row seats dont fold flat into the floor because doing so would make the 3rd row seats lower for it to fully fold flat. Ive been to the 3rd row seats of the new montero which we all know fold flat and it's not very comfortable compared to 3rd row of innova and fortuner. The base of the seat of montero is very low that your knees are really folded and you almost feel like squatting. Not that innova's and fortuner's feel like a couch, but it is a lot better since the base of their 3rd row seats disnt need to be so low. All because of that folding up mechanism instead of folding flat.

Reliability and durability, Yes but it lacks a lot considering its price. You can opt for an SUV like the Ford Everest Trend or perhaps the Okavango Urban Plus.

i got the 2008 v type and my leather seats are heavy duty and real they dont flip but they pretty comfortable for long trips and with just 62 thousand km and a clean interior this would not be an upgrade for me but without this car i would probable but the innova e 1.3 and 1/2 million p for me that would be the better buy because it has no bells and whistles taking care of all my needs but not my wants lol !!

Still the no.1 Mpv,no competition,Rear Wheel Drive with a ladder frame chassis same with fortuner and hilux,diesel Mpv,yeah it lacks some technology in terms of features but i will still choose Innova 2.8 diesel versus other Mpv’s with gas engine and Front wheel drive.

So toyota try to change more upgtade interior of innova what they said about innova 2021. 1.7million price not worth it to this innova 2nd generation. Wake up toyota.
@kirstiebeau48622 жыл бұрын
Toyotas are well-known for overbuilding parts of the cars that matter most especially the engine and transmission. That is why Toyotas were the preferred brand of most Americans because they could go a million miles with minimal maintenance withouth falling apart unlike GM, Chevy, Nissan, Kia and Hyundai which falls apart within 100,000miles or less. Sure other brands have more features but what is the sense of having all those toys when you’re car falls apart after 5years.

Toyota innova never innovate. Just remember Nokia, durable din sya but they never upgrade. Tumataas na rin expectations ng consumers ngayon. At that price, baka mag-iba isip ang ibang buyers lalo na may bagong competition sila.
