I have had this same one for years. Only needed to use it a few times as a DIY'er but I found my issue near the charcoal canister my first time using it. Excellent machine and a generous gift.

Kenny I made my own many years ago using 6 inch PVC end cap with threads to cap one end to remove it to add the mineral oil, then the bottom sealed the cap, I used Life Long Fiberglass Wicks for a Tiki Torch, KanthalCo 26ga Premium Kanthal Wire, use either baby oil or mineral oil and works great for less then $25. A 4 inch PVC pipe would work also, many videos on YT how to make

Hi. Nice to hear your getting better. Thank you for reminding me with this pump why I stopped buying there. Bought this pump, the car tire version, and it failed in 2 minutes. They would not honor their Pittsburgh product return without receipt. That was 8 years ago.i did exactly what you said. THREW IT IN THE TRASH ALONG WITH MY $12. AGAIN. THANKS.

I'm gonna go with a Fluke 88V . I cant believe how expensive they've gotten !! The healing is taking longer than we expected . But Its getting there . Thanks for asking !

They have one with built in compressor. I love my unit. I heard from a friend they are launching a new machine (ventus) with cold smoke so it is odorless. Can you do a video on that .

How much is the fluid (refill}? How long does a specific amount of fluid smoke for? What is the output pressure of the smoke, regardless of input pressure? What is the maximum input pressure? Harbor freight discontinued that pump months ago.

i build my own ghetto versions either out of a 1 quart or 1 gallon paint can, i use the same type insulated binding posts with a coil of nichrome wire connecting the post inside the can which i wrap in coleman style lantern wicks from walmart, add a pair of hose nipples to the lid, one for exiting smoke and one for entering air which has a cheap harbor freight in-line regulator attached, i fill it up about 25% with baby oil, run power wires to the positive and negative terminals on the vehicles 12v battery, as soon as it starts making smoke add about 5 psi of air and it works like a champ for a cost of about $10, i do like the paint gun canister idea though, paint cans are kind a flimsy and i just happen to have a canister without a gun kicking around here...........

A guy walked into Fedex and puts a box on the counter . They ask him what's in there . He says a manual transmission . Luckily it was from a sports car and not huge . They flip it over to read the label and it leaks gear oil all over the counter . He never drained it ! It was OILY in the morning ! People used to come to the counter with a carburetor full of gas . When they turned it to look for numbers or a tag , gas would run on the counter . It's better if they had a cigarette going ! Rest up .
