This didn't work for me and I followed step by step. Went over it 4 times and only one side pushes the grass (the side with the switch) but the other side does not move back.

Hm that sucks! Did it work before or didn't it work from the beginning? Have you tried removing all the grass blocks and placing those again?

I wanted a bunch of different dyes, so i built this in a flower forest since most types grow there. When I turned it on though I only got pink and white tulips, but shouldn’t i be able to get all types from that biome?
@nuvolamc Жыл бұрын
They grow in bands in flower forests I believe? you might need to build a few.

so question, can you make this farm bigger? cause flower forest does not seem big enough to get most of the flowers, ..I am curious about efficiency to try and get more flowers

A piston is able to push up to 13 blocks. That means you can make it as big as 13 x 13!

@@nuvolamc some trapdoors, fences, a fence gate, most things you used to decorate the inner part of the farm, i'm not too sure, doesn't matter all that much, but i did have to travel back to my base to get some resources which fortunately was pretty close by :)

@@nuvolamc It only says Complementary 4.5.1, but the texture between the grass and dirt is more diffuse and the step extends to the side of the block, also the blocks look extruded, do you have a tutorial on how to configure it?

Having some trouble. I got to the point where I put the lever in. When I pull the lever it 'works once' but when i pull a second time, it doesn't "go until you flip it off" as suggested. Its also weird cause like, the pistons get off cycle. So like, the front 4 rows push one direction and then the back 3 push from the opposite. Any suggestions?
@nuvolamc Жыл бұрын
Hm that's interesting. Do you play Java or Bedrock? Seems like the redstone signal isn't "fast enough" to get to the pistons at the back. If the problem persists, you could move the lever to the side (at the 4th piston). That way you can be sure that the redstone signal is distributed evenly. However, the setup should work as demonstrated (in Java for sure).

@@nuvolamc Thanks for the advice! First off, I love this farm and your build--the way you explain it is extremely user friendly! Okay so, still having issues. I am running this in Bedrock and I'm guessing that's the problem. I made a creative Java world and it worked perfectly. Went back to bedrock and made a creative world and ran into the same problem as my survival world. Perhaps some update messed up something? Here's what's happening: Made everything exactly as the guide states (minus I used planks instead of stripped wood) all the way up to placing the lever. When I flip the switch, the lever side activates once pushing the grass to the other side. Then the non-lever side activates twice--the first time it pushes the grass back to the lever side, the second time it just pushes nothing. Each time I pushed the lever, this happened until eventually the lever side randomly activated twice and the grass got stuck on the non-lever side. It's weird, but I'm wondering if its just some bedrock thing?
@nuvolamc Жыл бұрын
@@ChristNme17 ahh man thanks for the compliment but it sucks to hear that this farm also appears to not work on bedrock. For now I will take Bedrock out of the title. I based that on other peoples tutorials. Thank you for taking your time to figure out what is wrong and testing it out! Perhaps you can fit a Bedrock farm into this same build? I'm thinking about an infinite redstone signal going around, triggering each piston without the need for observers? Because it seems the observers are the problem in Bedrock. That would behave different than this farm, maybe produce less.. but it might work?
@ChristNme17 Жыл бұрын

It should do that the first time you flip it! Once you flip it again (so basically turning it off) it should keep going. If it doesn't, try replacing the grass blocks once, it may have triggered wrong?
