i have the Bravos XL. It fills with about 4 inches of water and washes NOTHING. My sheets, towels, clothes and dog blankets come out just as dirty as when they went in. I'm going back to LG non HE. They're more expensive but so worth it to get clean clothes.

This washing machine catches only a few inches of water to wash my entire wash load. My clothes never get submerged under water. Deep Water Wash doesn't work- because it catches the same amount as auto sensing. So invariably I end up with clothes that are partially washed. Unless I struggle to fight with the machine to manually throw in enough water that can actually wash my clothes. I thought I was just a bad lucked customer that bought a faulty machine until I got here and read similar struggles that other people are facing. Any help that I could get to save me from going crazy will be helpful. My patience is running very low right now.

I can't believe I spent $600 on this useless piece of crap. It adds 2 inches of water to the basket, and several articles of clothing never get submerged during the wash and rinse parts of the cycle. Checked on a load yesterday mid wash cycle, and one of my shirts in the middle of the basket was bone dry. clothes are coming out with dirt on them, I'm then able to wipe off by hand. I thought the load sensor didn't work, until it was accurate and added enough water to the rinse and spin cycle only. This "washing machine" literally does not wash clothes. Clothing comes out just as smelly and dirty as it went in. If dirt and other substances left on clothes is loose enough to wipe off by hand when it comes out of the washer, it should have been washed off in the washer. Of course that can't happen if the soap and water never even touches multiple articles of clothing during the wash cycle. This horrible piece of garbage is a complete and utter ripoff. Google it. It's a known problem. Add to that, it leaves soap residue on clothing, and tangles them all up.

I bought this washer from Lowe's because it was on sale. It was installed, and the person left, never insuring that it was running, and didn't show me how to do it. I tried to use it and found out that he didn't plug the power cord to the wall outlet. I did that and tried to start it, but it wouldn't start for me. Then noticed he didn't turn the water on. I would like to keep this washer. I had to fight, big time, with Lowe's to get this taken care of. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Supposedly, they are coming this Monday to fix it---4 days after it was badly installed. Then I can let you know what I think about it.

my mom's amana washer has a knob to choose between auto sensing or deep water wash for the water level but i don't hear the washer motor move the basket while filling using the auto sensing option, but if the lid is opened the washer stops filling (it locks the lid but not until the first spin, or during the first drain in which it does a self-test)

@@stevenlightfoot6479 Last week was my first exposure to an HE Maytag washer. My girlfriend's elderly mother says her new Maytag does not work. Well, it works. It just doesn't wash clothes very well. She has had it too long to return. She has been going to a nearby laundromat to do her laundry. I did not like seeing my t-shirts scrubbed around the bottom of the tub in three inches of water. Looks to me like a $1000 loss. I owned a laundromat for twenty years. This is NOT acceptable. Glad you're happy with yours.

Over engineering or global warming gone overboard. I had a Maytag for over 20 years and when we sold the home the buyers requested our old Maytag. Now I know why. We purchase a new set and I am convinced that monkeys engineered this new washer.
@meowtotheworld48015 жыл бұрын
I hate this washer. It’s like a glitch in the matrix for all the stupid things this washer does and does not do. We have to use “deep water wash” every time or else the cycle finishes with dry sections. The repair guy who came via Maytag or whatever said that’s normal and there was nothing he could do. Seemed weird since there are people who say theirs work fine. Idk. But there’s also weirdness like tonight when I washed clothes and then took them out when the machine said “done” but found there was a little bit of water left in the basin. So I pressed “spin and drain”. What did it do? It started filling up! Ha! Probably 6”! The irony! Cool sensors. This is just a perfect example of how this machine is crap to the point of absurdity. Oh. And don’t bother trying to “reset” because the instructions have to be a joke. It said something like: unplug for a minute then plug in again then open/close the lid 12x in 6 seconds, which isn’t physically possible. I’m telling you, don’t buy this washer unless you want it for entertainment or like angry ASMR. Whomever engineered it should be run out of town. I just can’t.

This video doesn't show what my machine does. It's set to deep water wash yet AGITAGES dry clothes for sensing? Not little test spins like in the video. It puts in water for 10 seconds then sits and agitates dry clothes for minutes. Don't think it's doing any favors to my clothing in the process.
