Automatic street light | Light sensor | Street light without battery and relay

Today in this video i have shown how to make an automatic street light using Triac bt136.
No relay
No battery
Components required:-
BT136
Diac DB3 ( You can get it from old CFL driver)
220K Resistor
LDR

Using relay with npn mosfet would be much more efficient and safer you just need small 5v/12v supply for the relay

I trust relays more for high voltages. Semiconductors can easily get destroyed with a voltage spike, relays can only get destroyed by their contacts welding (current spike).
