Need a sub-250g drone for rural searchs. Be quick and easy to get eyes on or rule out large areas.

Back in the 1970s I worked for a plant hire company in that area, mostly driving JCBs. The boss had us paint different parts of each machine and photograph the marks. Two machines were stolen and found in a yard in S Wales. Signage had been removed and vin numbers changed but the dabs of paint behind panels etc. were still there and a conviction was made on the evidence.

Seems you had adopted a useful early identification system. These days machines are mostly identified with CESAR markings, this to help recognise stolen kit and rightful ownership, it was also thought this would deter machine equipment theft, but alas that element has not proven to be a great success.

lessons learnt: keep tracker batteries replaced before they go too low, get cctv that captures close up detail

CX410 5mp for night time use (has a large sensor that makes it super sensitive at night, doesn't need much light) + 811A 4k using the "optical" zoom function to clearly capture number plates if the CX410 misses it

You should do an update on these cases on another video. You could also do videos informing people why it is good to install a tracker or GPS in equipment. That will move your channel and get U more subscribers. You could also do a video on how you go about getting to the equipment. Interesting video all the best.

So... ...you've had a machine stolen once & recovered thanks to the tracker. Then the tracking company reminds you several times the battery on the tracker needs recharging but you don't get it recharged because, reasons. Then the machine is stolen again. I'm scratching my head as to the reasoning used by some people.

They loaded up the digger and killed the master switch, turned it back on to unload it and the tracker came back to life - that digger wasn’t dropped off that long before you got to it
